intro/pinned post bc i should probably explain myself actually
hiiii im salem, he/they, been playing wiz since avalon came out though my interest in the game/ability to speedrun quests varies greatly
this blog will potentially contain spoilers, although i try to tag major late-game story beats or test realm/newest release stuff. current tags i tend to use are “selenopolis spoilers” and “w101 spoilers”
my wizards;
- Finnigan "Finny" GhostWeaver
- Necromancer, 168
- Half-human, half-mantis. Had a brief villain arc around level 100 where he sided with the bugs in Khrysalis but he’s normal now. constantly suppressing the urge to bite people
- Made fresh in 2020-ish with a couple friends where we all made new wizards together and played thru the main questline
- Orion StarBound
- Conjurer, 170
- astronomer & artist. sort of a demigod kind of? long story. worked with Qyburn to develop magic that utilized the Constellations by combining Myth & Star spells.
- my first ever wizard, made way back in like 2012 or thereabouts. transed gender. not actually a "Young Wizard" in terms of his story anymore
- Aedan ChronoKeeper
- Thaumaturge, 114
- polarian, all around certified Good Guy. likes to help whoever he can. (i am doing every side quest with him). can get unfortunately distracted with the Big Picture and be blind to individual feelings. was a dog one time.
- most complicated story despite only really playing him a lot recently. the wizsein guy.
- Cecilia "Ceci" MercyCourt
- Theurgist, 166
- thank god i’m the only normal person here. valencian, library assistant in the wizard city library (at least until she starts getting roped into world saving business.)
- she’s nice :] but Nice is different than Good
- Willow "Will" DreamWarden
- Sorcerer, 25
- was born without magic, but figured out a way to communicate with higher powers through their dreams and was able to make a deal-- free a certain arachnid from his ancient prison, and they'd get all the magic they could want. it kind of backfires but hey thats what happens when you sign into pacts without reading the fine print. at least they have magic now (even if they can't quite remember what they had to do to get it)
- pretty much an archetypal d&d warlock. (if youre curious, they'd be hexblade subclass)
- Lance LightShroud
- Diviner, 35
- the friendliest guy youll ever meet. literally "bubbly" as in he makes bubbles but hes also so bright and cheerful and is going to make sure EVERYONE knows it All The Time. the sort of guy who types in caps lock because hes just so hype
- family is from wallaru-- small number of siblings but large number of cousins/extended family. all his machines are Incredibly jury-rigged but somehow still perfectly functional despite all signs pointing to them collapsing if you look at them wrong
all of them have more or less story to them and i am always up to talk about them so feel free to shoot me an ask or dm :] or just to chat i love talking to people
