I didn’t stick to one instance, so I went back and forth of why and when the reader is listening to music! But I tried to keep dancing in all of them! 

Era IV Ghouls with S/O Blaring and Dancing to Latin Music

Aether: Anytime you dance or just look happy, Aether is so stricken with adoration. His favorite is just seeing you lost in your world and music. Sometimes you laugh because you catch him staring with a love struck look on his face! “You want to join, Big Guy?” He always says yes! He loves the songs you play and you sometimes catch him singing them when he’s alone. Eventually he asks you to make HIM a playlist he can jam to when you two are apart for work or chores! Aether is also NOT the best dancer, but if you lead he will definitely join you! 

Swiss: No matter what you are in the middle of doing, if you are dancing to music you have just invited him to be your dance partner! Cleaning? Nope, dancing. Cooking? It’s gonna burn cause it’s time to DANCE! Dancing just because? Great, he’s gonna join! Swiss loves to shimmy and dance, but expect him to be a bit goofy. If you actually have training and skill, he DEFINITELY wants you to teach him all that you know! At the end of the day, the ghoul just loves music and getting to be goofy with you! Be careful, because sometimes he gets ahead of himself and might break something by accident! 

Cumulus: Don’t get her wrong, she absolutely LOVES seeing you dance- but she loves CATCHING you dance more! You are never ashamed, or anything like that. You just tend to get lost in your own little world and pretend music video. And Cumulus LOVES to jokingly sneak up on you! She always grins but immediately gives you a cheek kiss before turning up the music. You both always end up having a duet to both sing and dance together! Cumulus loves to lead, even if you are taller than her! But her favorite is when you sing and dance around her like a bird attracting a mate. It works every time!  

Cirrus: She usually finds you practicing dancing after she comes back from rehearsals. At first she just liked to relax and watch you practice. But eventually she wanted to join you and asked if you could help teach her! You were so excited at the thought of FINALLY having a partner learn with you. You both started slow and let her learn. Cirrus already danced on stage once or twice, but she loves having you teach her how to properly move. Cirrus is a fast learner and soon you both get to the intermediate dance moves! She enjoys your weekly practice sessions and even offered to compete if you were so inclined.  

Rain: As much as he loves seeing you have a good time Rain is always more excited for the music!  The moment he hears you blaring the music the water ghoul comes running. Will always ask if you can play his favorite song from your playlist if you could! Rain prefers to do your chores together because of this. He always tells you how everything is way more fun when you got music going! But Rain always ends up getting distracted with wanting to dance with you! You’re the one who always dances but Rain is the one who always ends up singing and trying to air play specific instruments to the song! Either way, you both have a blast when the music starts! 

Mountain: You thought at first that he has never seen you dance around or heard your music, ever. But the truth is he has known about it for months but just lets you go. One day you were i the middle of cleaning and trying to salsa when you screamed, seeing Mountain in the corner just watching you! After getting over the fright your big lug gave you, you ask him how long he’s been standing there! Mountain admits whenever you dance around he likes to watch you. When you ask WHY he never says anything or joins he sheepishly admits that you always look so happy and doesn’t have the heart to interrupt! 

Ember: It’s honestly his favorite sight to see! But even though he finds your dancing adorable and your choice of music excellent... there is his absolute need to fuck with you that over rides his appreciation. EVERY. TIME! Ember will watch you for a few minutes to enjoy how happy you are before taking over your music device. Suddenly your music is changed to heavy metal! You look back to see a grinning Ghoul stick his tongue out at you! His favorite is when you jokingly chase him out of the room.

Era 3 + Era 4 Ghouls Reacting to Sibling with Long Black Hair

It really depends on what you mean by “abnormally black” hair- like if the hair had a specific, nonhuman quality about it! Other than that, the ghouls all have different reactions based on their preferences of appearances and tribe culture back in Hell. 

Omega: His only thought is that your hair reminds him of the Emeritus bloodline, as their hair tends to be very pitch black and thick. He tries not to think too much of it, as the Emeritus are not the ONLY humans to ever have thick black hair. He doesn’t even want to THINK of what it would be like if you were related. 

Alpha: The fire ghoul finds your hair to be very nice and it tugs at a part of him that misses his home in Hell. In his tribe it is considered impressive to have long or well maintained hair- as it signifies you have control of your element. He can’t help but muse how if you were a fire ghoul many would assume you were VERY powerful. 

Air: Has the same idea as Omega, that there is a possibility you might be related to the Emeritus- especially if your hair had otherworldly qualities to it. Granted, you could just be a distant cousin and not pose a threat to the ‘stability’ of the clergy. He’s more annoyed at the idea of you disrupting something by being an Emeritus blood bearer than your actual hair.  

Earth: The smaller drummer adores your hair and quietly compliments it. It’s what actually starts a conversation with you two. You find out Earth has always wanted longer hair but it’s too much upkeep for him. You eventually end up giving him tons of tips if he ever wanted to grow his hair out! 

Water: Loves to play with it while you two talk or even flirt. His fingers are always twirling a strand of it absentmindedly. Sometimes he’ll reach out and do it without even realizing it. Water later admits it is a habit he developed when his own hair was very long and it helps calm him. Will be happy to stop if it upsets you, or keep doing it if you like someone playing with it! 

Aether: Your hair immediately reminds him of the ghouls of his tribe back in Hell. Many of his particular tribe had pitch black hair. His knee jerk reaction is to think you might actually be a quintessence ghoul wearing human glamour! When Aether realizes you aren’t he just feels homesick. When you become friends he admits if you were a ghoul you’d fit right in at home!  

Ember: If you both are friends this little bastard is tempted to tie your hair to furniture as a prank. As funny as he thinks it would be, he refrains. If you let him Ember will gladly play with your hair as long as you do the same for him.

Swiss: Has actively tied your hair to furniture as a prank. Not to be too malicious just enough to annoy you and have a prank war with him! He would never do anything to permanently damage your hair. Always makes it up to you by brushing it out and giving you a scalp massage! 

Mountain: Is very impressed you got your hair that long in the first place. He notices humans tend to have a harder time growing their hair than ghouls, as ghoul hair grows exceptionally faster and tends to be longer. He might share this fact with you randomly if you ever find yourself in a conversation with him! 

Cumulus: Loves and adores your hair! If you two are on friendly terms she is always offering to braid, style, or brush it. Cumulus is a ghoulette who especially loves mutual grooming and loves the feel of your hair. 

Cirrus: She only gives it a passing thought as she sees your hair. She remembers a time when it was trendy for humans in the 60′s to have very long hair. It definitely sends her into a mental rabbit hole of old ghoul vs human beauty standards.

Rain: Seeing your hair is a bit nostalgic for him, as his tribe tended to grow their hair very long. It makes him miss when his hair was almost to the same length yours was. He had to cut it in order to be more comfortable under his mask. If anything, it makes him long for Hell and normal ghoulish customs. 

Going to be short answers because we are covering EVERY ghoul! So buckle up!

Hey there! The fic idea sounds wonderful and I can’t wait to see what you come up with! 

There are tons of lists of ghouls and I could find a few! I know I’ve reblogged a couple of guides to ghouls made for new fans! 

But to be honest, there are a few nick name variations that depend on the fans and where you are on the internet! Especially when it comes to the fire ghoul, whos name had a bit of a controversy recently on its use. 

As for personalities, most of them are fan made based on what a lot of us see when the ghouls are on stage! So you have a lot of room to explore and write for yourself! My best advice is to watch tons of clips and concerts to see them first hand! 

I will try to make a quick abridged version for you! :)

Nick names:

~Lead Guitar (Fire) - Fire, Stompy (mostly seen on Facebook imo), Dewdrop, Ember. Dewdrop is what is most common but I’m careful not to use it for many reasons.

~Rhythm Guitar - Aether is the name I’ve always seen, but I’ve seen at least one instance of him being referred to as Quintessence. 

~Drums (Earth) - Mountain is commonly used, but before he was Mountain he went by names like Ivy, Big Earth, Earth II, and even Hank. (Sorry for bragging but me and my friends started Mountain and can I just say when it became the standard name I WAS SO EXCITED??? I’m so happy you guys love what we came up with!!) 

~Keyboard (Air) - Commonly just called the Ghoulettes, and their names vary! I’ve seen Tol and Smol, Pam and Karen, and the most common being Cirrus and Cumulus. I’ve seen the most variation with these two in names! 

~Back up vocals/Third Guitar (??? New) - Swiss Army Ghoul, Multi Ghoul. The one you know! :) Most commonly just Swiss but I have seen variant names for him depending on the author! 

~Bass (Water) - Rain, the most common nickname. I’ve also seen him just called Water before, before the name Rain REALLY took hold in the early days of Prequelle. 

Personality: 

These are based off of traits we can see in shows! 

~Ember: Full of energy, stomps a lot, mischievous, always licking his guitar or sticking his tongue out, likes to bully Aether and throw things on stage. 

~Aether: Big goof ball, lots of energy, always pretty excited and runs about happily, plays with the other ghouls, lets Ember bully him during the guitar battle. 

~Swiss: SHIMMIES SO MUCH! Shakes his hips and does funny sexy dances on stage. Sometimes plays and jokes with the other ghouls and humors Copia. Him and Copia have shimmied at each other before!

~Mountain: We barely get to see him, he works so hard!! Comes for the bow on the show covered in sweat and no shoes. 

~Ghoulettes: Often shipped because they are very cute and like to dance with each other and hug. You can see them hype everyone up. They like to make hearts at the audience and just generally be total sweet hearts. 

~Rain: Often more performing and being more docile. Recently has been coming out of his shell. Has no problem hanging out with the other ghouls on stage, especially during Miasma when they all play together! Let Aether and Ember play his Bass for him while he just stood and listened.

Era 4 Ghouls in the presence of an Angel

Aether: The quintessence ghoul definitely felt the angel before he saw them! One of the benefits (and drawbacks) of his element is that he can be considered more elementally aligned with angels. While not “holy” the aether does use a lot of properities and magic angels do. Aether is almost immediately worried when he senses on and let’s everyone know an angel is around! He wants to stay calm but can always feel his element acting up, ready to strike out when needed. Among all the ghouls he is most likely to be a peace keeper and to inquire WHY the angel is there in the first place! His second instinct is to keep other ghouls from attacking so a fight doesn’t break out! 

Ember: His strategy is to be as loud and intimidating as possible without actually having to fight... at first. It really depends on how the Angel presents itself. Ember has no problem dropping everything to fight immediately, but he knows sometimes scaring something off works just as well! He absolutely will change into fight mode should to angel make ANY aggressive movements. Ember knows how deadly angels can be around. If Aether is around and the Angel is passive, he MIGHT consider calming down. But only if other ghouls are there to hold him back! 

Rain: Very weary and on guard, but more like you would see with an anxious cat. Back arched and hair raised, but won’t swat at you unless you get too close. Rain normally is more friendly but Angels can be bad news. If the angel in question can prove they are there on neutral terms and not to cause harm he may, eventually, come around to talk to them. Some angels aren’t there to fight or hurt the children of Hell, but every fiber of his being is right to be weary. The rational side of Rain wants so badly to be friendly and have a decent conversation but he just can’t- not when letting your guard down can get you killed! 

Swiss: Cocky bastard of a ghoul smiles, even does friendly things like wave and have a conversation. Don’t take this the wrong way, he will still be on guard. But Swiss never likes to show how upset or weary he is, it gives away your sense of surprise! If he TRULY deems the Angel not a threat, he will be courteous and charming like he is with any other person or ghoul. Swiss deep down feels many lower ranked angels are like ghouls, they can’t help that they are born to a certain faction. Both are stuck in opposing sides that they didn’t choose. Olive branches can go a long way, if you ask him! 

Cumulus: A lot like Swiss, the smaller ghoulette puts a more calculated and nonchalant front. Getting herself worked up doesn’t help and only puts the angel on guard. But a part of her is definitely curious, as she has never been near a holy being so close! If not a threat she might talk to the angel and keep it to small talk. Definitely wanting to know more while keeping them at an arms length. That being said, she won’t hesitate to try and rip them to shreds if they try to harm her or her friends! 

Cirrus: Cirrus can be described as standoffish, but she’s normally a very level headed ghoul. Being in the presence of holy enemies puts her on edge. She won’t go into a blind rage but she will snarl, hiss, and her heckles will stand. Cirrus definitely WANTS to fight the Angel, but does not want to endanger everyone around her. So she will keep a good threatening stance in case the angel wants to fight. She will be willing to exchange words if need be, but they are curt and not very nice. 

Mountain: VERY quiet yet alert, unmoving and mostly watching. Mountain’s natural ghoul instinct tells him to fight to defend his friends and loved ones from the angel. But he knows it’s too foolish to strike first without a plan and without reason. It will just cause more problems in the end! So he patiently waits to see what the angel will do, especially if the holy being is interacting with his friends. He won’t go out of his way to speak to them, however. If the angel feels hostile he will fight tooth and nail to protect everyone!  

Ooooh this will be really interesting considering how they all have their own heat cycles! <3

The Era IV Ghouls as the Seven Deadly Sins

Lust: Swiss - Very few people are surprised by this association, as Swiss is not shy about flaunting. That being said, his theatrics on stage are mostly showing off. He likes to keep the true nature of his carnal desires more privately. Yes, he is a huge flirt and show boat... but that’s only the very shallow persona he puts on. Swiss is far more passionate and sensual one on one. Like his element, he is fiery and all consuming. Some have described him as practically insatiable. Swiss has even made a habit of taking multiple partners just to find satisfaction! 

Pride: Ember - Although he could easily be a contender for Lust, Ember’s true sin is pride. Made even more obvious now that he is the lead guitarist for the Ghost Project! Ember is, in his mind, rightfully arrogant! He is one of the most skilled musicians the band has ever seen, he’s powerful in his element, and he has a long line of admirers and lovers. There is absolutely no reason he can’t be considered the best of the best of band ghouls! He’s the cream of the crop and will happily fight anyone who tries to challenge it! 

Wrath: Cirrus - Despite her playful and easy going nature on stage, Cirrus is a very serious and guarded ghoulette. While her wrath is controlled, it does not mean she doesn’t have the fury of a storm. Air ghouls are known for their cruelty and sudden surges of violence. Cirrus can be as fierce as a hurricane and destroy anyone that stands in her way. She carries herself very coldly and tensely when around others- especially those she needs to assert her rank and dominance over. Woe betide anyone who even THINKS to harm her friends and bandmates... she’d literally rip them limb from limb. 

Envy: Aether - Though he is one of the most easy going and loveable, Aether also has that dark side to him. Envy has been one of his major sins, even if he is VERY good at hiding it. For the majority of his career Aether has felt he has been in the shadows of others, doomed to never shine on his own. At first it was being on Omega’s shadow. Having to live with being second best in Quintessence ranking AND as a replacement guitarist. But now he feels he is second best to Ember. Even though fans love him, it’s hard to feel you can steal the spotlight from a LEAD guitarist. 

Greed: Cumulus - The shorter air ghoulette lives for the glamour and the glory of her work. To her, it is fitting she should be praised AND rewarded for the excellent work she does! After all, the band spreads Lucifer’s word and gains new followers every day. At first she wasn’t sure about human luxury, but she finds she has grown a taste for it! It’s amazing what human paper money can buy! Although Cumulus doesn’t really spend it on clothes or jewelry (something she can’t really have as a working ghoulette) she’s willing to spend her earned money on other pleasures. Her favorites being music equipment, suites, food, and champagne! 

Gluttony: Rain - Though not with malice, Rain tends to indulge a little too much into many pleasures. To many he is calm and collected, but he has his share of vices! This comes in his ability to over indulge himself in flesh, fancy, and food. This water ghoul has a bottomless pit of a stomach, to start. No one knows where he puts it all, but he can eat twice his weight in one sitting. Rain also craves lots of stimulus, and often finds this with partners and carnal desires. Sometimes to the point where he can’t pay attention to what’s going on around him. 

Sloth: Mountain - despite being one of the hardest working performers in the band, Mountain is the embodiment of sloth outside of touring. Like an actual Mountain, he does not like to move or exert himself. When he can, after his duties around the Clergy, he simply rather do nothing. Trying to wake him from a nap is nearly impossible. Not to mention, he seems to be the most lax of the ghouls when it comes to worshipping their Dark Lord. Often not feeling the same need to pray or sin in His name. This has gotten him into trouble before.

Era IV Ghouls with Their S/O cuddling and singing to them to Sleep

Ember: Is unashamed to admit he loves getting to cuddle even if he is a complete brat about it. While Ember much rather get into OTHER physical deeds, he’s not going to say no to some soft time. But he will get on your nervous about it by pretending to be difficult. Ember will want to roll around and change positions many times before you can convince him to stay still. The easiest way you’ve done this? Playing with his hair. Once you get your hands on his hair does he start to relax. Ember might grumble about how dumb he looks with braids but will whine if you stop making them. His eyes don’t start to get heavy until you start to sing. 

Aether: Aether absolutely adores any excuse to nap AND have you in each other’s arms! when you mention you’re in the mood to cuddle he nearly belly flops on top of you to get into bed! There’s no escape from an Aether bear hug once you promise a night of snuggles! Aether is a very handsy ghoul with you because he just loves to be in your embrace. So singing to him only makes the entire mood that much better! Aether loves to play with your hands gently when you sing to him, only stopping if you rub around his horns and ears (his favorite spots!) After your songs, if he is even awake, Aether gives you a small round of applause. He loves to compliment your singing. Always makes the same joke. “If I wasn’t so comfortable I’d go get my guitar and we could make music together!” Give him ten minutes before he’s snoring. 

Swiss: This ghoul is widely known for being the most extreme cuddle bug of the band. So be warned, if you do this for him once he will never leave you alone! Swiss is like a giant cuddly cat that constantly needs attention and snuggles. Normally he is the one singing to you but you singing to him? His eyes light up more than a fan being Cirice’d! He lays down in your lap purring up a storm and nuzzling into your warm stomach or chest. Swiss will pull your hand to his head so you can rub under his mask as his eyes get heavy. He inevitably falls asleep with a grin on his face and radiating a nice warmth. 

Cirrus: It’s all very new for the ghoulette, as she is used to being the one to hold and cuddle YOU! Cirrus is the big spoon and doesn’t quite know how to feel relinquishing control. At first she seems stiff and a bit hesistant, but let’s you continue. When you are behind her you start to rub her shoulders as you sing gently in her ear. Eventually her back and arms stop tensing and she starts to go limp from the attention. Cirrus actually has a very delicate and quiet purr, so if it wasn’t for her form vibrating you would barely be able to hear it!  Before she falls asleep she will grabs you arms and pull them around her, nuzzling into your neck. If you stop petting her she actually grumbles, “why’d ya stop?” It’s not long before you have a sleeping ghoulette on your shoulder. 

Cumulus: Normally, Cumulus is the one to sing you to sleep with her sweet voice. But she doesn’t mind the same treatment right back! She loves being spoiled by you. Nothing gets this ghoulette to purr like having you play with her hair as she lays in your lap. Cumulus loves to climb up your torso until her arms are around you as you continue the lullaby. Sometimes she even joins in, matching your voice as you stare into each other’s eyes. Cumulus has alwasy enjoyed the cheesy moments and always ends the song with a kiss on your nose. After you two nuzzling down into your covers, hands rubbing each other’s sides. 

Rain: Even though he comes off as calm most of the time, the promise of cuddles has this ghoul practically tackling you to the bed! Rain LOVES any type of snuggles or physical contact, so he’s always eager to be curled around you. Rain hums along with you when you sing to him, and closes his eyes as he stretches. Rain adores your voice and regularly asks for you to sing to him! When you do he melts like butter in your arms and doesn’t move. The longest he has ever lasted with you patting him to sleep and serenading him was five minutes before he was completely knocked out. It’s adorable the way he curls around you like a giant kit. 

Mountain: Mountain grins like an idiot whenever you softly sing him love songs. He’s got a huge soft spot for small, romantic gestures. You serenading him is on his top list of what he loves! The earth ghoul loves to rub your foreheads together gently and purr as you sing. He rarely can just sit there and let you do all the rubbing and cuddling, and feels better when he can reciprocate. Most of the time, you trying to make him relax ends up with you on the receiving end of the best deep tissue massage you can ever get! Mountain loves the attention, but prefers to give! At the end of every attempt to put him to sleep YOU’RE the one who ends up napping in HIS lap! Mountain loves getting to hold you as you drift off. A part of him thinks it would be extremely precious if humans could purr like ghouls...

Hope you like how this one came out, it was an interesting idea considering how ghouls and sex can be vastly different than humans!

Era IV comin’ at ya!

Ghouls with a Highly Energetic and Quirky S/O

Swiss: This is actually perfect, as they match his own energy perfectly! Swiss can be seen as chaotic and impulsive on energetic days. For him, having an s/o who matches this randomness is a dream come true! Granted, an utter nightmare for the rest of the clergy when they see you enable him. Swiss thinks you are his perfect match and joins you in spurts of action and unable to sit still long! 

Mountain: Actually envies you a little bit. He is a strong ghoul and has great Stamina with his work and performing- but not in the same way you do! You seem to have way more fun, you’re more carefree. Mountain has always been a quiet and more down to Earth (no pun intended) ghoul. He loves getting to see you just buzz around and have a good time! Hopes one day he can catch some of your enthusiasm.

Cumulus: Thinks it’s rather cute that you are so lively all the time. A lot of people in the Clergy, humans and ghouls alike, tend to be so stiff and boring. You’d think there would be more people like you about!  She helps keep you focused if you space out during important times, and knows how to redirect your energy if you get off track. You’re always in a good mood and your eccentric ways are refreshing. She loves having such a unique and unapologetic s/o! 

Aether: Thinks it’s endearing to know you always have stamina to spare. Truthfully, your nature just cheers him up all the time. Aether tends to get emotionally drained very fast, but when he’s with you he catches your giddiness! You always seem like you’re in the clouds but in the best way possible- you don’t let anything sink you down! Your humor and kindness just make him fall for you more! 

Cirrus: Wasn’t sure what to make of you when you first met, as she’s actually quite stern off stage. But it’s your quirky ways and plucky energy that won her over. She’s kind of the strong silent ghoulette to your bright and cheery bursts of randomness! You make for an almost opposite couple, but she’d have you no other way. So long as you aren’t LOUD when you have your bursts of energy, she is quite happy- as she’s never been a fan of obnoxious noise outside of concerts.

Rain: You’ve always made him feel more at ease and less self conscious when he spaces out or has silly moments. Rain is a ghoul that shifts between quiet, subdued moments and bursts of chaos himself! So it’s so reassuring that he isn’t the only one who randomly spaces out during the day. Your energy makes him so happy and he feeds off of it! Loves nothing more than to play together and have you both in a pile laughing at your own goofiness together! 

Era IV time! 

Swiss: If I said it once, I’ve said it a thousand of times already- there isn’t a body Swiss DOESN’T like! But, he does have a soft spot for curvy partners. He finds that they always feel AMAZING to hug and loves how it looks visually. The rounder the better, if you ask him. 

Mountain: He’s the same and opposite as Swiss. Body types have never mattered to him, and it’s not a trait he actively looks for. So he’s pretty indifferent about figures when compared to things like personality- or small features like freckles, spots, or beauty marks (all things he adores.) To him, all humans are pleasant and attractive no matter the shape. 

Cumulus: Being a vivacious ghoulette herself, she appreciates when her partner has the same figure! She loves curves and softness in both herself and you. She thinks you look (and feel) amazing and always finds an excuse to wrap her arms around you. 

Rain: Actually has a huge weak spot for curvier partners. He likes the softness of cuddling a partner and getting to see how good you both feel pressed together. He’s always been a lanky and scrawny ghoul, so he actually envies your body a bit! Catch Rain pouting when he looks at you and Aether... you both are so lucky, in his eyes! 

Aether: This hunk of beef ADORES more plush partners. Aether himself is round in all the areas that aren’t just solid mass of ghoul. He particularly finds rounder cheeks, faces, and tummies especially attractive! For Aether, there is just something about curves that makes him go NUTS! 

Cirrus: Cirrus is another ghoul that never really put much thought into a partner’s physique- to her a body is just a vessel.... But humans tend to be far more pleasant to look at than other ghouls (even if ghouls are literally built just like us.) Cirrus finds herself staring at your figure when you aren’t looking- thinking about how badly she wants to hold you to her and not let you go. 

Ember: Listen, he’s worse than Swiss when it comes to having a partner who is hella curvy and hella fine. Ember is another scrawny ghoul who loves to sink his claws into soft flesh and curves. When you two are alone, you can barely keep him off of you! He can’t help himself, you’re just so damn sexy and feel so good to hold!

Since they are all in the same wave, I’ll do Copia with the ghouls! I think I might have done Copia in another post as well, but since I can’t find it I’ll just add it here. 

And I’m ALWAYS comfortable with body positivity my dude! 

Cardianl Copia: Copia knows exactly how you feel. A lot of people don’t know this but before he got back into performing and dancing he had a bit of a paunch for a couple of years. That and he was unblessed with thick thighs that took him a long time to learn to appreciate. Point is, he knows how awful it feels to hate a part of your body. Copia will let you know that you are made perfectly the way Lucifer wants- that nothing about you is unattractive and that being chubby is incredibly sexy. If you are THAT down about yourself he’ll even tell you everything he did for himself and how he battled self esteem issues. You are beautiful no matter how you feel, but he’s going to support you no matter what you do. 

Ember: Did someone say something to you and make you feel bad? Cause Ember is always ready to fight when he sees you being hard on yourself. He’s super confused when you tell him how it wasn’t anyone making you feel bad about yourself, it’s just how you feel. That’s always his dilemma, it’s not like he can just fight YOU for how you FEEL? Ember doesn’t know the best way to change your mind, so he snaps at you, “if society makes you feel bad for not looking like someone else then FUCK society!” Ember will do everything he can to make you think other wise. Whether that’s hitting on you more, calling you sexy, or shouting outloud how he feels about you he’s going to do it. The HELL he’s just going to sit there and let you talk shit about yourself.

Aether: Whenever you express it he’ll jokingly look down at himself. “I mean, I’m pretty thick and you love me!” If you respond with saying anything about he he’s perfectly fine and he looks amazing- he’ll hit you with a, “well, so do you!!” Aether thinks you are perfect the way you are. It makes him sad that you don’t think you are attractive because you aren’t super thin. That never made sense to him that bodies could be ‘ugly’. Aren’t all bodies just vessels for life and pleasure? To him, you are perfect and beautiful/handsome and he would have you no other way! He might even joke that you aren’t allowed to complain about yourself unless you complain about him too! 

Cirrus: She is so unsure of how to comfort you during times you feel super self conscious. For two reasons- one is that chubby being unattractive is next to unheard of in a lot of ghoul tribes. Two, she’s never been SUPER emotional or lovey dovey so she’s not sure how to approach this gently. Cirrus is super blunt when she sits next to you and rubs your back. She tells you that you are absolutely fine and that your appearance is fine. That if anyone makes you feel bad then who cares? They are a bunch of idiots who wouldn’t know an attractive person if they saw one! If that doesn’t work, she offers what she feels are “helpful” encouragements. You can always work out and diet change- would you like her to help? You could do it together and make it easier. She admits it’s not how she feels about you, YOU have to be the one to be comfortable with yourself. But she will be with you while you do it. 

Cumulus: She knows how you feel about yourself, but let’s you express it the way you need to. Cumulus is sorely tempted to point out how curvy and beautiful she is and how many people love that about her. But this isn’t a comparison about her, it’s about you. Cumulus does subtle things to help you learn to love yourself. This can be anything from her always reminding you how attractive you are, to just doing little things to make you feel good about yourself. Like helping you try clothes that make you feel good, or just having small accomplishments that have nothing to do with your appearance. Cumulus doesn’t want you to let some silly notion of what’s ‘beautiful’ to take away from all the other amazing qualities you have ON TOP OF being one of the most beautiful humans she has met. 

Mountain: Point blank does not understand. Will straight ask you WHY? I mean he will sit you down and let you just vent about all the imperfections you feel like you have when it comes to your body. Mountain will nod along until you are done, even if you have to cry during it. He’s not shy to tell you that it’s cool that you feel that way about yourself... but you are wrong. You’re chubby, not unattractive. No one is unattractive just by being a body type, who told you that? Mountain is a bit shocked when he learns modern human society values super skinny and fit people. “But... not everyone looks the same? How can you expect everyone to look the same? That’s like expecting everyone to be the same height!” The ghoul cannot wrap his head around the idea. Mountain will shake his head. Actually, anytime you bring up how self conscious you feel Mountain will always make it a point to say, “those standards are stupid don’t listen to them.” 

Rain: At first Rain thinks your self consciousness is actually one of those internet jokes. He literally thinks you are playing off of one of those ‘dummy thicc’ memes. Rain laughs and probably agrees with you until he notices how heart broken you look- que panicking of him trying to figure out what he said to upset you. When you both sit down and have a good talk about it, Rain gives you a hug. He hugs you every time you are feeling down. Rain doesn’t feel like it’s job to FORCE you to love yourself, because he knows how much it hurts you and you can’t just let go of being self conscious. But, he’s always the first one to remind you how much he loves you and thinks you are the most amazing and attractive person he’s ever met. He’s very much a, “Fine! Then I’ll love how you look enough for the BOTH of us!” 

Swiss: One of the biggest things that confuse Swiss about you is how you can be so self conscious. To him you are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! How can you look at yourself and not feel like the most attractive human to walk the planet? Swiss tends to forget that humans have a LOT different beauty standards than ghouls... most of which he finds stupid. In fact, he adores having partners with a little heft in the first place! The way he expresses it... may or may not be helpful depending on how you feel. He’s the type to insist you being chubbier makes you more cuddly and soft and more to love. Swiss means it from a good place, I promise. 

Aether: He’s a huge goofball when he flirts. Aether likes to be sweet and playful! He’ll make tons of jokes and do funny things to get your attention and get you to laugh. Aether is all about cute little gestures and hugs. He’ll do things like get you to smile or blush, boop your nose, and say, “You’re cute when you look like this!” This big ghoul also LOVES to give bear hugs in place of romantic talk. You can always tell he is interested in you when he gives you a surprise bear hug and totes you around. Aether adores people he can feel comfortable with. Cheeky bastard also likes to steal tiny little kisses if you are REALLY into it- both cheek and quick pecks on the lips. These are usually followed by his famous goofy wink. 

Ember: Ember is not at all subtle with his flirting. He saves those type of games for people he is more serious about or don’t want to give into right away. Ember likes to be in your personal space no matter what it is. Either by trying to hold your hand or shoulder, standing close to you, or even sitting next to you. But verbally, he can come off as joking or a bit rude (depending on how you see it.) This ghoul will make tons of jokes and straight pick on you. A bit juvenile, but they are always things like trying to get you to react in small ways. Nothing terribly mean spirited, but enough to get you to respond. Like calling you a dork, or making up a dumb name to call you. On top of that, he’ll give you light hearted back handed compliments. “You know, you’re pretty cute when you’re not trying to annoy me.” Again, he’s usually not trying to be mean, Ember is trying to get you to engage. He’s very pleased if you talk back to him so you two can play banter. 

Cirrus: Anytime she has flirted with you ALWAYS feels like it is coming out of left field. You never knew she was interested and you two had been speaking for months! You feel like she is joking when she finally starts to make a pass at you. The only reason you know she isn’t is because the taller ghoulette never jokes about things like this. Cirrus can come off as very intense to an outside party, but that’s because she takes any type of court ship or partner very seriously. Cirrus is the type to make intense eye contact whenever you two start to flirt- very rarely breaking it. It’s like watching a lioness corner her prey and is ready to pounce! Not to scare you away, but she knows eyes are gateways to the soul. Cirrus also makes it a point to let you in her space when you two are speaking- something she rarely does and only reserves her bubble for those she likes. Likewise, she’s more likely to get physically closer to you. Also, if her tail is swishing relaxed or quickly back and forth- that’s a HUGE sign she’s into you! 

Cumulus: She is actually normally a very playful and flirty ghoulette! Cumulus typically play flirts with everyone, to her it’s cute and harmless fun. She has mastered the art of exaggerated eye batting or a sensual tone. You constantly see her and Swiss joking with each other regularly. When she’s flirting with you, it seems more... pointed. She likes to use touch (if you are ok with that) and positive body language to go along with her words. It’s one thing for her to say cute, inviting things to you- but it’s really driven home when she leans in closer or lightly touches your hand. You’ll know you REALLY have her interest if she does things like pretending to punch your arm or play with your hair!  Her signature move is to lean over and push your bangs out of your face, while purring about how cute you are. 

Swiss: When isn’t this ghoul flirting with you? Swiss is a master flirt and knows several different styles on how to do it! He usually gauges how he wants to make moves on you based on your energy and what you are receptive you. He can be super sweet and open, or really silver tongued and cheeky. If Swiss had to pick a favorite, it would be being upfront and cheeky. To him, he likes to make it a game of getting you to blush or be flustered by his words. Whether it’s him using pick up lines, telling you all the things he loves about you, or just steamy comments. He’s even a bit ballsy because sometimes he’ll whisper sweet nothings into your ear and watch you melt. It switches between corny lines to actual poetry to make you into a blushing mess. 

Mountain: He’s not a very emotionally driven or impulsive ghoul- so it can be VERY tricky to tell when and if Mountain is flirting. He’s the type of ghoul that he rather show you his intentions through actions. Mountain likes to do things like be physically closer to you and spend time with you. It’s not “flirting” per say, but it’s how he shows his interest. To him, what better way to show how much you like someone than by  Mountain also likes to present you with small gifts and trinkets- preferably pieces of precious stones. It’s how his tribe courts back in Hell, and he likes to keep to tradition!  No surprises when he eventually comes up to you with flowers and just says, “I really like you and want you to have this. Please, take it!” 

Rain: Don’t let his sweet or reserved exterior fool you. Rain can flirt with the best of them! He tends to stay clear of my hokey or theatrical methods. He’s not really into making up super sugary compliments or over the top pick up lines. Rain likes to be open and honest. His compliments are genuine, his attention is never off of you, and he likes to suggest ways you two can spend time together. Rain, when he flirts, wants you to feel like you have his undivided attention always. This ghoul will literally drop everything if you walk into a room just to run up and start talking to you! He always tells you how much he loves talking to you and all the ways you make his day so much better. Very sweet!

Swiss: This slick mother fucker just comes up to you with a wink, “What time should I pick you up?” You stare at him, unsure of what was just asked before he POLITELY INFORMS YOU YOU TWO HAVE A DATE TONIGHT! If that doesn’t work, he is the master of pick up lines or smooth ways to ask you out. Swiss is the type to be super upfront and charming when he wants a date! 

Aether: For all the confidence he has on stage and working, he’s so shy and a bit nervous. Aether is very much a gentleman who wants to make sure he’s not putting you on the spot or catching you off guard. He will do something like pick you a flower and shyly present it to you when you both have a moment alone. “You know, I would- uh- I would REALLY like to take you out sometime... if you’d like!” Sweet ghoul. 

Cirrus: The taller ghoulette is normally very fierce, confident, and unafraid of anything... but she’s actually very shy and cautious when it comes to dating. Cirrus is a guarded type who has to make sure she trusts someone enough to ask them out. So when Cirrus finally gets a moment with you, you’ll know it’s sincere and serious. She might turn away and blush under her mask, arms crossed. “I ... really like you. I’d like it if we could go on a date sometime...” So relieved when you say yes!! 

Rain: A lot of people expect Rain to be SUPER SHY and scared when he asks people for a date, but it’s just not true! Sure, he gets SUPER nervous and a little shakey- but who doesn’t? Rain likes to be excited and preppy as he asks you out sweetly. It’s such a polite and thoughtful invitation, too! “I really like you, and I would love to go on a date! We can get food or maybe do your favorite. what do you say?” Always suggests something he KNOWS you will enjoy as a first date. 

Cumulus: A ghoulette that isn’t shy about her intentions. She’s always a bit blunt if not straight forward. Cumulus will have a sweet smile on her face as she asks if you have a moment to talk. “We’ve been spending a lot of time together, and I want to get to know you more. Would you accompany on a night out together?” You’ll probably be the one stuttering as she giggles at how cute she finds you. “If that’s a yes I’ll see you after practice!” 

Mountain: Incredibly blunt, but he means well. He knows humans gift give as a courtesy, and will do the same as Aether! Except instead of a flower, he gives you a nice bauble as he asks you out. “I’d like to go on a date with you. You’re very nice and I like you a lot. Want to?” It’s so sweet you can;t help but accept! Mountain smiles so big when you do! 

Ember: Ember has no problems asking out people that he casually wants to see, it’s like second nature and not a big deal. But if he likes you enough to want to see you more seriously, he can come off as a bit snappy or irritated. Think of the anime tsundere trope! Likely to look a bit flustered as he comes up to you, hands in his pockets. “Look, I’m gonna cut to the chase- I like you and I wanna go on a date with you, alright? A REAL date!”
