Era V Nameless Ghouls Favorite Board Games

Sodo/Ember: Battleship is hands down Sodo's favorite game to play. There is nothing more satisfying then figuring out where your opponents ships are and completely obliterating them!

Mountain: Maybe it's not as exciting as the other games, but Mountain ADORES checkers. It's classic and he is a patient ghoul. He tends to completely destroy his opponents out of no where.

Aurora: She LOVES Sorry! It's the perfect board game if you just want to have some friendly competition! She's ALWAYS the Red pieces.

Cirrus: Risk, and she's LETHAL at it! Cirrus will take over the entire world in Risk, and she has the patience to do it. Her favorites are all of the expansion packs so she can figure out how to win on new maps. Undefeated, but Copia has gotten VERY close.

Cumulus: Life! Not many of the other ghouls are ever really interested in playing with her, so she often has to find siblings of sin/road crew to play. She loves the idea of seeing a glimpse into the human Life through this silly board game.

Sunshine: Sunshine's favorite tends to be Trouble! They prefer games that have moving parts and more simple rules. Sure, the more complex games can be fun. But she likes something a little more fast paced!

Rain: Twister! Probably because he is actually the most flexible of all of the ghouls. It comes with being a water ghoul! Rain is the grand champion of Twister!

Swiss: Jenga! But his all time favorite is the REALLY BIG Jenga sets where you have to be even more careful! Suddenly it goes from not shaking the table to making sure none of the other ghouls shove you into the entire tower of blocks (which will always happen. They turn it into their own game.)

Aether: LOVES Clue! He always get's super excited to play! Aether just thinks it's such a good time, and always picks Professor Plum. Whenever he has a turn to guess who the killer is, he says it with such good acting!

Phantom: The embodiment of chaos himself, he loves Monopoly. And yes, he plays in a way to purposely antagonize anyone he is playing with. It's the best/worst time for everyone. He will break friendships if it means watching the light die in your eyes as you go to jail.

Bonus Papa IV: Settlers of Catan - and he's damn good at it. He's the type to get REALLY into it, too.

Being Best Friends With Air (Part II)

~You truly realized that you've become close with Air when he (willingly) introduced you to Cirrus. Everyone knows that Cirrus is his adopted kit, but it's not something either of them like to chat about. She is, after all, just like him! But she accepted you quickly, much to your surprise! Cirrus can't help but laugh and shrug. "if he likes you this much than you must be something special. It's good he finally has friends." He only huffs, annoyed at her cheek. Thanks to him you and Cirrus are fast friends!

~Air is more protective than you could ever have known, but he hides it well. He has a mental checklist of anyone that has ever treated you poorly or might seem like a threat to you. You've only caught him looming over someone once. But that was because Air thought they were bothering you. You found it sweet despite how scary he can look!

~The tall ghoul has a habit of doing small acts of kindness to you disguised as orders. Once he brought you food and commanded that you eat it. You realized later it was because you skipped breakfast and your stomach was growling. Another time Air forced you to leave your library shift early... but only because he found out you pulled an all nighter for your seminary exam. He's not a ghoul of words, but carefully curated actions to help you.

~You are one of the very small handful of humans he has actually opened up about his life in Hell to. You only know so much, but that's much more than the majority of siblings can say! Air has told you the particular mountain he was raised on, the name of his tribe, several tribe events of his home, and a few words in his specific dialect of ghoulish. You can't pronounce the ghoulish, but other ghouls are impressed you even know!

~Speaking of ghoulish, Air has actually taught you some! It's a VERY VERY difficult language for humans; as it is very tough on the vocal cords and involves several sounds we can't physically make. But he teaches you what he calls 'kit speak.' So you know a few words and phrases a ghoul kit might use! Air won't admit he loves watching other ghouls get surprised when you use it!

~The biggest honor is when you get to go back to his quarters to hang out. Granted, you two just do what you always do. Read, drink tea or coffee and have some chats, or go over library ideas. But you love that he trusts you! He typically won't go to where your staying unless you are sick or feel sad.

~Once in a while, Air invites you over to his nest while Cirrus is visiting. He cooks for the both of you, and you watch as Cirrus teases her father. It's always a great time, and a lot of his cooking is as close to ancient air tribe food as humanly possible!

Oh man, this is so late! But I hope you had an AMAZING birthday!!

Papas Celebrating Reader's 21st Birthday!

(Young) Papa Nihil: You can't have a 21st birthday without a groovy party can you? Luckily for you, Nihil is going to throw you the best one you've ever had!! It ends up being smaller than most grand parties, but Nihil feels like the best parties are the smaller cocktail ones! All hand picked friends of yours and an EXCLUSIVE guest list! He hires so many bar tenders, gets all your favorite food and horderves on trays passed around, and the best live music anyone could ask for... his band! Not with him, this time. He's going to be too busy getting you there and introducing you to some of the best people in the business! Sister is even there and gives you two quick pecks on the cheek, wishing you a good birthday (which you better have because this is through clergy funds!) Nihil buys you the most over the top birthday cake and leads EVERYONE to sing Happy birthday to you! And if you were up for a REALLY boss time, Nihil helps you try your first bit of pot. He's very protective of you the entire night, so that you can drink and partake in things safely. Over all, it's the best night!!

Papa I: (This is for all of my non-partying Ghesties who like a chill night!) Papa had started your birthday out by personally delivering his gift to you and a jar of potion. When you asked what was in the jar he simply informed you it was a hang over cure. As much as you appreciated it you ended up laughing and having to explain that you weren't planning on drinking THAT much! When Papa politely asked about your plans for your birthday and found you weren't doing much, he offered to make a special night for you. You felt bad imposing at first, but he insisted keeping to yourself on such a special milestone would be too lonely! Papa took you and some of your closest friends and ghouls to get your favorite take out, arranged a movie night, and even gifted you with a favorite bottle of wine and mead. Papa dislikes you feeling like you aren't a priority, so he will always make your birthdays special! You were happy to say your first ever drink was one of the best wines you ever had with your favorite adopted Papa!

Papa II: Papa is actually going to be the nicest big brother figure you ever had when it comes to your birthday. Unlike how he was for Papa III (yes they are around the same age, but he let his younger brother get so smashed they were both sick for a week.) Holds you the classiest yet fun birthday party! Teaches you how to pace yourself and find drinks you actually like. Papa more focuses on having a party that makes your night the focus on whatever it is you want to do! Much to your delight and partial embarrassment, he makes the most heartfelt toast about you with the most expensive champagne money can buy! The glasses of champagne also coming from a giant glass pyramid of bubbly that he poured himself just for you! Your night is filled with so much well wishing, gifts, and Papa giving you the clergy credit card for WHATEVER your heart desires! You even get a small, "I'm proud of you and the adult you are becoming" from Papa.

Papa III: This is the Papa you have to worry about the most, because he believes you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO CELEBRATE! 21st birthday? You need to go BIG AND OVER THE TOP!! That's a huge milestone AND you can legally drink!! Since you are so close, Papa gets you a drink before you even go to the over the top birthday party he threw for you! Gifts you with a nice vodka of your favorite flavor that he INSISTS is easy to take a shot to (it's not). You're like the baby sibling he never had, so this party is grand and he makes sure you get everything you want! The only draw back is that he gets you one of those plastic Mardi Gras necklaces with a shot glass, where you're expected to drink whatever anyone puts in it. For funsies you do agree to it... With the stipulation that HE has to wear the same one! All the ghouls, friends, and party goers have fun saddling you and Papa with whatever they could think of. You don't remember anything after actually entering the party. Which was held in a rented ballroom space with food and decorations fit for royalty. But you are told you both had a great time and that you loved all of your gifts! You never trusted Papa with the shot glass necklace again. Not after the major hangover you had!

Papa IV/Cardinal Copia: Threw you a surprise party for your birthday! Copia was so full of indecision of what to do but the band ghouls convinced him a big over the top party was the answer! Actually, Copia AND the band planned everything! He took care of the venue, the Cirrus and Cumulus did all of the decorating, Aether got the gifts, Sunshine got fireworks (bless them), Rain and Mountain found catering, and Swiss and Sodo got the booze... a lot of it, actually. Copia's job was to pay and to get you to the party without spoiling the surprise! AND IT WAS A SURPRISE! You've never seen so many people at one party JUST FOR YOU! Like with Papa III, you really wished you could have remembered the second half of your party. Because you and Copia get dragged to do shots with the ghouls. The last thing you remember is Sodo, Swiss, and Aether chanting 'CHUG' before waking up hung over in the ghoul pile. Copia does feel bad you ended up so wasted, so he makes it up to you when his own hang over is gone. You get an extra birthday outing to get breakfast, sans mimosas of any kind!

Era V Ghouls With S/O Who Loves Gentle Shoulder Touches

When it comes to physical affection you've got the jack pot with the majority of ghouls! Physical touch is a regular and needed pack behavior when it comes to bonding. So ghouls ALWAYS love snuggling or grooming each other.

Cirrus: Prefers to give touches rather than receive them, so this works out for you both. She has a lovely way of mindlessly running her claws along your shoulders and spine- very gently tracing over each shape on your body. Most of the time she doesn't realize she's doing it. Is more likely to do so when you are around others, because it's her unconscious way of knowing she can protect you and claim you as HER partner.

Cumulus: Thinks it's adorable the way you always melt under her touch. She tends to especially tickle your shoulders and back when you are anxious or stressed out. It's her go to when you both cuddle and try to sleep. It works every time to get you to sleep!

Sunshine: They adore doing this for you! But... they also love getting the same shoulder scritches! So now you both have the best hug ritual when your in the mood for it. You and Sunshine will hold each other while facing, and then use both hands to tickle each others backs. It's some of the best cuddling you've ever had!

Swiss: Be careful what you wish for because he will actually try to tickle you! But he'll switch between trying to tickle you for real to get you laughing, or just doing the light scritches to relax you. Swiss is very big on touch, especially after a long day. So he's happy to go between soothing and playful. Whichever makes you happiest in the moment!

Mountain: Doesn't really use his finger tips or claws to caress your shoulders. He actually does this thing where he will gently ball up his fist and use his knuckles to slowly stroke around your back. It's soothing and like getting a massage when each of his knuckles find those spots under your shoulder blade and get all the tenseness out!

Aether: The king of any and all types of soothing physical touch! He knows EXACTLY how to move his hands over your back and shoulders for the best relaxation. Aether knows how to use his finger tips so it still tickles, but also gets the best pressure to not be too rough. His hands are magical and he has always put you to sleep tracing your back!

Rain: Another ghoul who absolutely wants the favor returned. Typically, you two will sit shoulder to shoulder while you hang out with the others. Each of you with an arm bent behind the other's back as you give each other shoulder rubs. You tend to like a more tickling sensation, and Rain prefers more of a scritching on his back.

Ember/Sodo: Unintentionally leaves more scratches than he means to. He constantly does the same thing a comfortable cat does- accidentally stick his claws out when he's just trying to make biscuits. It's very good when you have an itch at least! Ember is getting better at using less of his nails when he tries to tickle your shoulders the more he does it!

Era 3 + 4 Ghouls with an EMT/Firefighter S/O

Omega: As the current strongest healing ghoul in the entire clergy, it's actually really nice for him to be with you. It's very hard having the stress of so many relying on you all the time! You really get the pressure of having to help others with dire consequences if you don't. You both are so proud of the other, and help each other on the tough days!

Alpha: Alpha actually thought when you said fire fighter you meant you fight fire style! Pit fighting is a fire ghoul past time in Hell, and one of the most important sports there. So imagine his surprise when you clarified WHAT you do! You've actually found him to be an infinite well of wisdom when it comes to advice in your work! He IS the head fire ghoul after all! Jokes he's going to show up and steal your job!

Water: More interested in the fire fighter part of your job. SPECIFICALLY how your truck and the hoses work. Human contraptions still baffle him in the best way! A single water ghoul could probably summon enough water to stop a decent sized fire by themselves... but that hose is too interesting. He has asked you multiple times if you can bring one home for him to try!

Earth: Despite being a mischievous brat, even to you, he's lowkey worried whenever you go to work. Not just for fire fighting but for being an EMT too. He doesn't hate humans, but he knows they can be just as violent and dangerous as a ghoul- especially when injured or scared. He feels the best when you can text him to let him know you are alive. Always gives you a big hug when you're home but INSISTS it's not because he was worried!

Air: Humans are such fascinating creatures, and he almost finds a scholarly curiosity in your work. You have to remember he's not only centuries old but comes from Hell where these things are tribe efforts. Seeing how humans make entire careers based around a specific job has always been almost amusing to him. Regardless, he thinks you are very compassionate to want to help strangers all of the time.

Swiss: All of the jokes, every time your work comes up. Thinks your jobs are cool but he can't help himself! Swiss will do things like casually ask if he should start a fire to get your attention. Or dramatically call out that he needs medical help because his heart is giving out by how AMAZING you are!! When you aren't around? Brags about you constantly.

Mountain: Has pointed out that your jobs make you like an Aether and Fire ghoul, and that's very intriguing to him. When you first started courting he asked you so many questions about both of your jobs. What did you like about it? Was it scary for you? Do you often have to perform improvised medical treatment? When people ask him about you, you always blush because he always says," Oh- they save lives for a living." Made you emotional the first time he said it.

Cirrus: Very impressed and supports you being in such a risky field of work. Not many have the ability to do something so stressful, draining, but highly rewarding when you can help. She often asks you what keeps you going back to the work? Not to doubt you, but Cirrus loves hearing about your passion in helping. You weren't sure how she really felt about your job as it sometimes feels like she doesn't acknowledge it... but you've heard her brag about you before.

Cumulus: The keyboardist thinks you are so brave for what you do! Often makes sure that when you come home you are relaxed, well fed, and getting rest. She tends to assume that you are always on the go and tense for when you are getting your next emergency call. Cumulus tends to forget that humans are tenacious and have been doing this kind of work for a long time. But she means well!

Rain: Very proud of you but often worries. Not just for the danger you put yourself in but for the long hours you work. Humans just aren't resilient like ghouls! Rain does small things for you at home to help you. Like always making sure your work boots are unlaced and in a place you can reach in an emergency. Or slipping water elemental charms into your pockets for extra protection against fire. He's also concerned about your mental wellbeing from it but that's why he's there to support you!

Ember/Sodo: Thinks you're a total badass and will brag about you to everyone who will listen (and brag to everyone who won't anyway!) Will share your accomplishments and use them to showcase how cool you are. "My S/O just put out a giant building fire! What does YOUR s/o do???" Like Alpha, gives you so much advice on how to handle and contain fire. Will hype you up before your shift every time. "Go kick some ass!! or... save some ass!! "

Aether: Like Omega, knows the very daunting pressure of having a job you can't afford to make mistakes with. Besides the band, Aether is the second strongest healer in the clergy and has a lot of responsibility. He actually admires you so much for being in a similar positon. The fact that you actively sought out doing these jobs to help others when you weren't obligated? Absolutely touches his heart. Aether thinks you are just wonderful for it!

Bonus Special!!: Thinks you are so intriguing as a person. He's always curious of WHAT exactly makes a person live so selflessly and wanting to help others. Always happy to ask you about your day... you also don't know it but he has some of his power around you. To help keep you more safe. You only noticed when fire didn't feel as dangerous or you always felt overly calm when helping an injured person...

Oh man, I'm so sorry you had such an awful time. :( I hope these days have been treating you so much better! Hope these make you smiles. <3

Era V Ghouls Helping You Through a Crappy Day

Ember/Sodo: His kneejerk reaction to hearing you are having a bad day is to ask whose ass does he need to kick!! It was such a strong reaction that it made you laugh out of your mood for a few minutes. When you stopped and went down to being sad he had to ask what was wrong. Ember is the type of ghoul who lives out of sheer spite so he encourages you to do the same! Takes you to do something to let all of your steam out! Think about him giving you a baseball bat and saying, "c'mon!! We're gonna find something to break!!" ... and to your surprise its very cathartic you both kicking the shit out of an old sand bag.

Rain: He hates seeing you have a bad day. Will immediately pull you into a hug and get you some water after sitting you down. Rain is a normally a very quiet ghoul but he will shower you with love and comfort. He is also very into physical comfort, since it's what helps him through bad days. Rain will happily cuddle into you, wrap you in a blanket nest, or nuzzle into you while he plays with your hair. Often times, during bad days, you find yourself in his lap. Laying back as his claws gently rake across your scalp in the best way. You usually talk about the day and what happened as he listens and offers support. You also find he's REALLY good at helping you fix some things the next day, when you're ready to tackle something broken! Like if you broke your favorite mug, or lost paperwork.

Mountain: He always likes to ask what you need from him. This isn't to put the burden of comfort on you, but he does better when he knows exactly what you need. So if you just need some alone time, you got it. If you need to vent? He sits you both down somewhere comfy so you can talk and he can listen. Need some ice cream and to have a good cry? He will get you the spoon! Most of the time the best thing he can think to do is to get you in the nicest, feet off the floor, strong bear hug. Purring and nuzzling into you and giving you the most comforting hug he can manage. It's what he likes after some alone time to process his own bad days.

Swiss: Swiss can think of many ways to help calm you down, but he always has one big go-to method. Without a doubt, you know when you have a bad day Swiss will get your favorite food or snacks. Whether that's sneaking out with Papa's car to get you ice cream or calling in for Chinese take out, Swiss will get it for you! To him it is the ultimate way to calm you down and give you something nice to focus on. And then when you are both eating you can talk over your treat about what happened in the day. Swiss is very good at helping you verbally process your frustrations while keeping it nice and casual.

Sunshine: Have you ever seen videos of those crows who bring their favorite people nice things to make them happy? That is Sunshine. If you are sad they are on the case! Sunshine will gather anything from your favorite hoodie, snacks, blankets, movies, and any gift she finds that she knows you will love. Anything to make you smile again! You love that Sunshine goes out of their way to find anything that will work. They are also happy to just hug you and keep you warm while you relax. They will be a bit concerned if you don't bounce back eventually, so they will stick by your side. Sunshine just doesn't want you to be alone because you deserve comfort!

Cirrus: The keyboardist won't force you to talk about it if you don't want, but her main concern is making sure that you don't isolate too much. Cirrus is happy to give you space and time to be alone, mind you. She just doesn't want you to ever feel like you ARE alone on a deeper level. And sometimes bad days just make you feel like the universe is against you! Cirrus will periodically check on you until you're ready to come out on your own. Then she is happy if you two can just have a rant fest! Everything bad that happened to you that day? She will sit and agree with you and talk shit! It's very cathartic! Your supervisor scolded you for something you didn't do? Fuck that supervisor! Vending machine ate your last dollar? It's lucky she wasn't there to break it! Failed a test? Who cares, tests are stupid! It eventually always make you laugh and feel better!

Cumulus: Having a horrible day? If you like it, she's going to treat you to some amazing home spa pampering! Anything to help relax you and give you a wind down from all of the stress you had in the day. Cumulus is very good at massages so you'll definitely be getting one of those! Depending on what you like, she'll give you everything from a full body to just digging her thumbs in your shoulders in the best way to make you melt. Cumulus has also mastered face masks and home made scrubs. She's a very luxurious ghoul, so you know she has a jacuzzi tub in her bathroom. You'll both be in it with your favorite candy, drinks, and bubble bath. Anything to make you comfortable enough to get all the tension out of you while you vent about your day.

Aether: The guitarist knew something was wrong when you came home looking ready to either cry or burst out of sheer frustration. Maybe you were about to do both! His first act is to sit you down and let you vent out all of your frustrations. Tell him exactly what happened, he's all ears. He always believes taking it easy and being nice to yourself is the best way to calm down from a horrible day. Once you get everything off your chest he takes you to relax with him. Cuddles, lots of blankets, something quiet like a good movie. Aether likes to hold you and purr, letting the vibrations help.

Era 5 Ghouls Playing Through Resident Evil

The ghouls collectively splurged for a PlayStation once Impera hit! Tour buses got bigger and so did allowances! Especially with more rituals being added. So they all decided to get a few game systems to play between shows. When they found out about HORROR games however, it completely changes!

Rain Was the first to discover the popular human franchise of Resident Evil! Rain loves video games so actually started doing his research into them to find more to play! Sometimes the other ghouls didn't want to play multiplayer with him so he decided to branch out to single player. Resident Evil Village looked good so he picked it up! Fortunately (or unfortunately) the salesperson asked him if he knew about the originals... and that's how he came home with the Origins Collection and 3!

Rain: He was really surprised with how atmospheric the games could be! Rain wasn't expecting all of the puzzles though! They weren't hard, but he's luckily used to video game logic. To him it's just so funny a game about Zombies would have so many minor tasks and fetch quests! Absolutely hates hunters and whines about how they eat up all of his ammo! Rain prefers the older games because they feel more challenging and take more time. But the newer games are way more fun to play with the rest of the band and watch everyone's reaction! His favorite character is Jill and he feels like it's not a game without her.

Ember(Sodo): It started with the guitar ghoul claiming he DIDN'T like video games. And then he kept circling back asking Rain why he kept playing this game, it's just a stupid human toy, and... he is that a zombie? Ember ended upon the couch next to Rain after that. Running over every time he heard the title screen. Ember is the one who always shouts unsolicited advice for how to play the game, despite not playing it himself. He's tried a few times but he always dies or uses up all of the ammo!! Despite Rain trying to teach him that this is a series you need to CONSERVE! Which Ember finds so stupid! Why have a game about killing zombies if YOU CAN'T KILL THINGS? Also refuses to admit the jumpscares get him.

Cirrus: When Ember keeps fucking up and dying she gets sick of listening to him and swipes the controller. Which pisses him off because SHE'S SO GOOD AT RESIDENT EVIL! She gets very far without dying. Usually a Boss will either go down the first time or she only has one or two deaths before slaying it. The only problem is Cirrus doesn't care enough to finish games, and gets bored after an hour or two. She rather go do something else. But video games are a way to bond with the pack when there really isn't anything else to do on the tour bus. Her favorite is three because it's more open world and she thinks Nemesis is the better enemy of the franchise. It's a better challenge. She finds games like village a bit too boring.

Cumulus: She's more interested in hanging out with everyone than getting a turn. She finds human horror more funny than scary, so the zombies just make her laugh. Likes to say how none of the characters would survive living in Hell! But this changes when they are watching Rain play and reach Castle Dimistrescu in Resident Evil Village. Cumulus goes from admiring the story and graphics to squealing and pointing. 'OH WHO'S SHE? I like her!! Rainy, can you play as her??' She'll only ever play the Castle level, but she's more of the player that just looks around to find every secret and graphic. After that she passes the controller back to whoever wants it.

Sunshine: Despite being more used to the human world by now, technology still amazes them! Sunshine likes to watch in awe that funny little weird people move around in this screen! She more likes to ask about HOW video games work than she does about the game itself. Sunshine will sit next to Rain and ask how the enemy AI works. Does the tyrant only appear in this game? Why is it harder to beat? What's a hit box? Rain is very patient and happy to answer! Sunshine actually finds the hunters funny and thinks they are too silly to actually be scary. They can't believe that humans would find the game scary! The original first game, when the ghouls get a copy, is her absolute favorite. She finds old Ps1 graphics utterly delightful.

Swiss: Low key creeped out by the enemies, no matter which version of the game it is. Insists that it doesn't matter if he's seen weirder in Hell, it doesn't make it less creepy! Won't play unless coerced, but he will stop to watch. Jump scares accidently get him every time. Specifically whenever Nemesis jumps out in 3! Swiss tries to cut down the tension by making voices for all of the enemies and characters, or singing theme songs he made up for them. He gets REALLY good at imitating the Nemesis 'STARS' growl. Hates every gross final boss giant monster. Refuses to watch the fight when they happen.

Aether: HIGH KEY creeped out by all of the enemies. The first time he saw a Licker he just shouted 'NOOO!!!'. No amount of jokes from Swiss could make the rhythm guitarist be ok with them! He's the type of ghoul who points at the screen and goes 'GET IT! KILL IT!' when he sees an enemy! Absolutely refuses to watch anyone play during the giant baby sequence in Village. The only game that doesn't get him is Resident Evil 7, which he will happily play. Mainly because the mold monsters look like 'silly putty' and make him laugh more than creep him out. He also finds the dialogue really funny for some reason. Like a horror movie!

Mountain: Is such a badass when he plays the games, and he barely blinks during any of the jump scares. He once binged Village in a single night before doing a second play through to get a full completion play. Likes finding all of the secrets and easter eggs. Everyone so shocked with how GOOD he was despite not playing games as much as Rain. Rain is just happy to FINALLY have a gaming buddy in the band! Mountain makes the same comment every time a boss appears. Very quietly he goes, "haha wow look at this one" before destroying the boss in record time. When he finishes the game he smiles and asks for the next one. His favorite is RE2 because the split story makes him happy.

SURPRISE COPIA: He didn't intend to watch or play. Like Ember he just walked by checking in all of the ghouls and started watching. Likes to ask Dad like questions about it. What is this game? What kind of game is it? Oh, is that girl a cop? Will sit down and get super absorbed into the gameplay and story... however gets too into it. Ends up hugging a pillow and jumping with noise ques. The quick time events stress him out and he'll shout button commands to whoever is playing. Unfortunately, he's terrible at video games so he never plays!

Papa Emeritus IV (Copia) + Ghouls with an S/O Who likes to be Tickled

Papa IV: He thinks it's adorable but you have to be careful if you ever reciprocate! Particularly when Copia is working or spacing out. He can be quite jumpy and easily startled! When it comes to playing with you he gives you those half committed, wiggly finger type of tickles you'd use to play with a toddler or a pet. Not entirely enough to really tickle you, but enough to play! Copia enjoys the way you react, and finds you so endearing when your face lights up! The one time you play tickled him he actually got startled and fell off the couch you were goofing around on. He still hasn't lived it down!

Rain: Despite coming off as the calmest and easy going, Rain is actually a master deceiver and ambusher. He LIVES for hunting you down to tickle you! Absolutely adores the way you laugh and squeal when he gets you! It's hilarious to him. He makes a game of giving you a warning to run or hide before coming for you. He always ends up having you pinned so he can tickle the life out of you until you give up! He's also the type to poke you where it tickles most if you aren't expecting it.

Cirrus: Only does it playfully for you, but DESPISES being tickled herself. She will let you get one or two pokes in before her claws come out. On the flip side, she only tickles you once or twice when she's in a rare goofy move. Cirrus knows you enjoy it, so that's enough reason for her. She rather goof around doing something else. She tends to be the ghoul that does light hearted punches to the shoulder, and the occasional football butt slap of encouragement. If you are ever extremely sad, where you haven't smiled all day, she will bust out the tickles to make you feel better.

Aether: He's actually incredibly ticklish, so he has to be careful when he initiates a tickle war! Because Aether knows the moment you decide to retaliate it's over for him! He laughs hard and his pitch goes up to a falsetto laugh when he's being tickled. But he finds you so damned adorable when you are being tickled! You have the cutest laugh, and you just get this goofy look on your face after you catch your breath! You two love to have surprise tickle wars. It's been a game of who can surprise the other first! So far you are about 75 - 25 with Aether in the lead (actually with him being a ghoul it should be 100. But he wants you to win sometimes, too!)

Swiss: As far as this lovey ghoul is concerned? This is a new and fun way to flirt!! Swiss LOVES to play all the time, so tickling comes naturally with you both. ESPECIALLY if you are the type who loves to gently rough house! His favorite is to do playful have you at his mercy, and tickle you until you can't breathe! Swiss even has a goofy smile and air of smugness when you finally give up! He thinks it's incredibly fun, and it makes him adore you so much.

Mountain: He's actually not ticklish, AT ALL. So he doesn't quite get the hype of being tickled. Is it that bad, as people tend to make it out to be? Doesn't it hurt you? But Mountain won't complain, because it makes you happy! He was afraid to try and tickle you for the longest time. He's a very strong ghoul with long fingers, so he doesn't want to end up jabbing you too hard. But he finds out you are just as ticklish just by being lightly poked! And he finds that funny the way you giggle and twist and pretend to bat his hands away.

Sunshine: Sunshine LOVES to play, so this is another way you two bond! Tickling is so fun and they love to laugh! One way Sunshine likes to tickle is getting you both rolling around on your bed or the ground. Basically having a tickle battle of who can tickle the other more! She likes to sometimes surprise you with a poke to your side before running away and seeing if you will chase her! You both basically have your own version of tickle tag, with rules and everything!

Cumulus: She thinks it's so fun the way you like to be tickled. That physical touch and play are some of the ways you show affection. Cumulus has always loved light hearted people, and you are her absolute favorite. She's not as sensitive to it, but she will put on a show for you if you try and tickle her. A lot of the light, teasing, "STOOOOP" or running from you giggling. On the flip side, she also likes chasing you very slowly. Threatening to tickle you for any small thing. Oh, you got to the shower first? Tickle time! You left without a good bye kiss? You're coming back to TICKLES!

Ember/Sodo: Will tickle you happily, but do NOT fucking tickle him back! He's serious! Claims it's annoying and dumb... but he's actually SUPER ticklish and a bit embarrassed by it. Ember has no problem tickling YOU, however. He can be an evil gremlin about it when he wants to be. His favorite time to attack is when you are carrying something or about to sleep. Loves watching you throw whatever you are carrying and try to tickle him back! You rarely get him back, due to his ghoul strength keeping your wrists back. But the times you do you make him blush from laughing hard and kicking his legs, begging you to stop!

Era V Ghouls and an Immortal Sibling Friend

Sunshine: They are the newest summon, so they are very eager to make friends from all walks of life! The species that share Earth are much more diverse and interesting than those in Hell. Things like werewolves, fae, or vampires don't exist there! So she is very excited to make a new friend that has all of these stories to tell! If you are willing, Sunshine would love to come to tea everyday and just here whatever story about your life you are willing to share! They find you the most fascinating person! And when their human tongue is a lot better, you better believe you are getting so many questions!

Ember/Sodo: Depending on how long you knew each other, his presence around you is either suspicious and on guard... or friendly banter. If you two have been friends for a while, it's way more calm and full of mutually loved back and forth. One of Ember's favorite things is whenever you bring up one of your past lives he'll exaggerate. "oh YEAH I remember when you were a pirate and plundered everything! and then you took your ship made of gold and sailed into the sunset!" In turn, you do the same; making fantastical stories about his life in Hell. It's all in good fun. But truthfully, he values having a non-ghoul in his life who understands longer life spans and the changing of times.

Aether: The two of you are like two old men who play chest and reminisce about the past. Like with Ember, Aether appreciates someone who has lived a long life as he has. Humans are amazing, but their lives are a fraction of a ghouls. They don't know what it's like to have lived through a centuries worth of change and not just a few decades. Bonus points if you both lived through the same historical changes. Aether just loves getting a chance to reflect on the past you both shared, whether it is analyzing bygone years or just reminiscing about the good things. Either way, you two are long time buddies.

Rain: You two surprisingly warmed up to each other rather quickly. Like Ember, Rain tends to be cautious around non-humans for instinctual safety reasons. But he's never one to turn down a new polite friendship, despite being on the shyer side. Rain likes to relax by laying in your lap as you tell him stories. Often times its a split between him falling asleep in your lap (being so relaxed) or asking you many questions. Rain is absolutely fascinated by them! But most importantly, he likes to hear stories because of something you don't realize. Your face lights up and you have a nice glow about you when you reminisce about the past. Rain likes to make you happy.

Mountain: At first your presence didn't even phase him. Which was strange for you, considering ghouls tend to be moody around other supernatural beings. But he was always polite and welcoming to you. Which made you strike up a very fast friendship. Another fan of asking you many questions. But you often find your conversations just a back and forth of fun stories. You two often joke that your favor currency is in anecdotes! "I'll get you extra dessert if you tell me the time you were in the Tzar's court!" or "Hey, I'll do your library shift if you tell me the time your tribe took down a Dire Bear in Hell!" It's fun for the both of you! It's also a great topic on the rare occasion you run out of things to talk about.

Cumulus: She was very welcoming to you when you were new. Cumulus finds new people refreshing and a chance to have a good conversation. She's delight when you admit you have an incredibly interesting past! Sometimes she invites you to the days she has tea with the other ghoulettes so you can share stories (if you are comfortable.) You used to get nervous because you felt like you were always talking about yourself too much. As much as you loved sharing your life it felt... rude. Imagine her surprise when you flip the conversation and ask her about HER life. To say the least, you were happy to learn about her and her past! Especially within the clergy and its endeavors.

Cirrus: Cirrus recognized you before you even got to speak to her the first time. One day you joined the clergy and suddenly found a Ghoulette making an intimidating B Line straight for you. It took her addressing you by name for you to realize who she was. Mainly because she was THERE during one of your favorite stories. By a fun twist of fate you BOTH had gotten into a situation that involved running away from vampire hunters AND the Spanish Inquisition at the same time! You almost didn't recognize her with her new military mask and uniform. The first night you reconnected was drinking together and telling everyone your great escape! You two have been good friends since, and always end up telling the story together as a party gag!

Swiss: Fortunately for you, Swiss is the band chatterbox so he LOVES to hear stories! The moment you gave away you were an immortal he asked if you accepted questions. Swiss is so excited to hear all of your stories and ask for ALL of the details. With your permission and comfort he even sets it up so you can tell other people about your life! You end up being the life of band after parties when you tell your coolest adventures. His favorite thing to do is brag about all of the cool historical figures and people you've met in your time. It's very flattering how he loves to hype you up!

How the Ghoulettes Would Cheer Their S/O Up! <3

Cirrus:

~Her first instinct is to be protective of you. If you're sad or, Lucifer Forbid, crying she will want to know who did what to do. Cirrus will curb stomp anyone who makes you cry or feel bad! Luckily for you both, it wasn't anyone's fault.

~Cirrus cares but she has always been the more logical one, than emotional. She's good at comforting you with rational logic, offering solutions, or just letting you vent. But, she wants to do more for you if you are really struggling with emotions.

~Quality time is her love language. Cirrus might not be the best talking about feelings but she is the master of movie nights. She's happy to build a blanket nest, gather all of the good horror movies, and steal the best snacks from Copia's private pantry! She sticks in your favorite films and snuggles you until you feel a lot more calm and relaxed.

Cumulus:

~You're getting all of the kisses from your lovely ghoulette. All over your face to make you laugh at how they tickle. She's very physically affectionate if you let her be. Reassuring touches are her go to. Rubbing your back and shoulders while she whispers how much she loves you.

~One of her favorite past times is to swipe Papa's credit card and go shopping. So she's definitely taking you to go get a treat! Whether that is to go to your favorite restaurant or get you something nice, it's up to you! But either way, a night on the town is a good way to get you out of your head!

~She's always ready to just make you some tea or hot coco and let you get it out. Whether you just want to talk about your feelings, vent, or just have a nice conversation she is there for you. Better yet, you both can snuggle under a blanket while you talk.

Mist:

~Mist is not much of a talker, but she is an incredible listener. Mist has always sat with you to listen while you told her everything. She loves to hold your hand while you work everything out. Nodding and rubbing your knuckles with her thumb.

~She loves to surprise you with little gifts. Mist feels that small gestures make the biggest impact. So expect her finding your favorite snack, or handing you something cool she found in the abbey. You have a nice collection of little objects and toys that remind her of you. Your newest gift is a small piece of quartz she traded from a stone ghoul because it was your favorite color!

~Mist is not just a bassist, but a guitar player as well. She can't sing, but she will always play her guitar for you to cheer you up! You get your own private concert whenever you want! Mist has carefully memorized your favorite guitar solos just for this!

Sunshine:

~Sunshine absolutely HATES seeing you so down in the dumps! So they typically makes it their personal mission to make you feel better! You being down hurts them so much, but they can't imagine how you must be feeling. So it's time for them to get to work!

~If it's one thing ghouls love when they feel sad or unsafe it's cuddles... so cuddles MUST work on humans too, right? You might accidentally get knocked over with an overly enthusiastic hug. She will purr and snuggle up to your side. If you are laying down she might even play with your hair!

~If you aren't the touchy feely type they will still find ways to make you smile. Sunshine is a talented vocalist so you better believe they are singing you all of your favorite songs! If not your favorites, making up silly songs to make you laugh.
