The original design for Gem!Honerva and Diamond!Lotor. This is also the first piece with smoke effects and an actual background (Although this is from “On The Run”) but I’m still kind of proud of it.
When I first drew this she was originally a Sodalite but after a few episodes I figured that a Lapis Lazuli would make more sense thematically speaking. I based this on what her Homeworld outfit could look like and what looked the prettiest honestly.
In the end I tossed it because it didn’t fit her personality and on Homeworld the same Gems only have slight differences in their clothing. I still think its a nice piece so have this to tide you over until another important character shows up.
