Oh that’s fair! I’m just still being salty that she joined the League of Super-Heroes and never came back for the JLU finale is where my thinking came from, I suppose.
Her and Brainy were especially adorable though in the DCAU I completely agree!
Yeah its sad that we lost her for the DCAU (cause she fucking rocked it hardcore in that universe.) it to me it was made that show great, it showed that they knew not only the lore, but also its fanbase. Cause to me the best ending in the world they could have given her. Kara in the comics always Loved hanging out with the legion and spending time in the future. and and it really was a great way for her to step out Kal’s shadow which was her ark for the show. ( you know instead of like in the books were they just up and kill her)
and that being said once again. IT MAY BE the only time Querl and Kara get fall in love, be dumb about it for a bit, and get stay together. you know instead of Brainiac 5 getting sad and building a sex robot of her.

i have three very odd theroy's in my head about this background Kingdom come Character that unless its made clear by 'the word of god' i will believe to be head cannon
1) her name is not XTC is not her name, that's stupid. i believe her name is Linda lee Dox, because i believe Querl Dox would want to name her after her mother. not only to contect her to her better side of her heritage but to show his daughter all aspects of Kara's life are important, and Like wise if she has a 'secret identity name' it would be 'Kara Docks'
2) Her hero name was probably coined by a tabloid at a young age as something like four year old 'Braianiac's daughter' save bus full of people. and is just something that stuck
3) taking a page from her mothers book i believe she goes into the past to escape from the problems in her life in 31century

i have a real problem with how Sexed up they make supergirl's costume, to me i see see her as a Teenager i always will.
in fact it really bugged the hell out of me when Brainiac 5 who has aged to arguably 25-35ish was set up to meet supergirl again, whom they have kept around her late teen years
and as MUCH AS I LOVE THIS PAIRING! it creeped me the hell out. and took a lot of the magic i once felt for it out, i just dont like the idea of an adult lusting after a teenager.
I dont know maybe if it was handled better i would have respond more positively to the recon if it had been more then ploy to get people who were fans of the couple to by the issue i remember the tag for it for moths being like ' after twenty years they reunite' and the issue blew, and Brainiac 5 just came off creepy, there was ZERO chemistry between them...
