anyone who's always wanted to watch leverage but couldn't afford it and couldn't find it to pirate it, or just prefers watching things on youtube instead of futzing with unofficial sites:
Hi. 😎🌿
Thought it would be nice to have ALL the parts for the South Downs Cottage series in ONE post ;)
+ bonus sketch under the cut
Aziraphale in his human and Unicorn forms , based of a ficlet from @phoenix-soar 's monster prompt collection (which can be found here ). I added a little bit of a Last Unicorn vibe to the idea. Drawn for All That Slithers Equine Monsters month.
Annual repost of the “original” Aziraphale and Crowley from Gloucester Cathedral. (I even grabbed my companion and whispered “Have you read Good Omens? You need to take this shot!”)
Remember how I said I have no chill about anything? MORE MARK OF THE SERPENT(adjacent) FANART
(Fic by the amazing @naromoreau )
@summerofspock it's our BOI!!
Ok so at this point I've had two people roll up to me in manual wheelchairs, well, one of them was somebody pushing somebody who was nonverbal at the time, but it still counts. They asked me why I had zip ties around my tires.
It's winter where I'm living and we have really bad snow. And the snow plow people are really bad at their jobs probably because there aren't snow plow people who clean sidewalks. As a solution I got to thinking about how I could increase the traction on my wheels. And the most redneck thing I could think of was taking a bunch of zip ties and tying them around my wheels. They last surprisingly long, and work surprisingly well. It's basically the same premise as chains for your tires during the winter.
I chose to space them out pretty evenly so there's about one for every spoke. You could probably do more or less depending on how many you want and how much traction you get but I wouldn't go more than three per spoke. I realize that it's a bit later in the winter, and I probably should have made a post about this sooner, but I came up with it about a week ago. So please share this, even if you're not disabled, because there are tons of people I know who are stuck in their houses because they can't get around in the snow. A pack of zip ties costs about $5, which compared to $200 knobby snow tires is a big save, and if you want to invest you could get colored zip ties.
Sharing for accessibility
Oh fuck yes. Thank you all the abled people between op and me this is exactly what I needed to see 💜
ooh sweet, thanks for the tip
(for anyone using their chair both indoors and outside, highly recommend wheelchair 'slippers'/wheel socks like these so you don't tear up wood/vinyl/linoleum flooring with the zip ties!)

Have you ever been browsing around fandom spaces on Tumblr, run across a long post full of meta-rambling about Good Omens, and thought, “Wow, this is such a complex story, I love discovering new things about it”? Or even, “Oh, this fandom is so insightful, people are constantly noticing new details”? (Surely someone out there has thought that, because I’ve seen it show up in the tags when they’ve reblogged meta posts.)
Well, then have I got the zine for you.
A Nice and Interpretive Fanzine is a collection of interpretive essays written and illustrated by your fellow members of the Good Omens fandom. We’ve got over 160 pages of analysis and commentary all about Good Omens, its place in the world, and its place in our hearts. I’m not going to give away every single essay because surprises are exciting, but here’s a sample of the discussion topics within:
- Aziraphale and Crowley. So much Aziraphale and Crowley.
- Gender and sexuality, in canon and fanon contexts.
- The real-world context of Good Omens as a piece about politics, society, and “human nature,” whatever that may be.
- The philosophical and spiritual underpinnings of Good Omens as explored through the series’ themes and the characters’ motivations.
- And much more!
The individual essays in here are complex, but the project as a whole is simple: we’re a passionate fandom and we have insight to offer, so let’s see those insights printed in a real book we can hold in our hands and enjoy alongside a nice cup of hot cocoa (or your preferred beverage).
There's more detail on the product description pages at the links above. Do feel free to send questions to this blog or the zine email at [email protected]! I will be posting this promo in the Good Omens tag a few times, probably a couple times this week and then once a week in September, so do what you've got to do.
I'm so glad that I could be a part of this amazing project by illustrating @theniceandaccurategoodomensblog 's essay on Crowley's relationship to God!
Absolutely do give it a try.
