kohiiai swan lake au (not!fic)
I planned to post this before swan Kohaku scout ended and then I pulled him yesterday, which is as good a sign as any.
Here it is! At last! I do not remember when I first said I wanted to see Aira as Odette but I'm sure it's been a long time. If any of you remember that, I hope you're not disappointed!
Note: I say kohiiai but it's really mostly hiiai and kohaai, with hiikoha only being mentioned in the epilogue since it just works out that way. It's there, it exists, but it doesn't happen during the main plot
This is ~5k words, broken up into 4 acts + prologue and epilogue. I'll also add some minor notes in a reblog

imagining that kohaku probably spends a fair amount of time out of his and jun's dorm because hiyori likes to invade it and he doesnt want to like. third wheel and hiiro already definitely shows up to hang out with aira unannounced so hell dorm will often be the unplanned kohiiai hangout spot. and eichi and rei will NEVER stop teasing aira about that

Pining! I imagine Hiiro pined for Aira alot before they got together, and this is kinda how I imagen it happening in my mind, with Hiiro being blunt but also kinda stumbling over his intentions and Aira ignoring it or getting frustrated/flustered before it also kinda bursts open
Kohaai: Fighter by Jack Stauber
I'm not completely sure on this one. Kinda just the lyric "Call me fighter...call me lover" dichotomy got me. No words, just vibes. Also the bounciness of the song kinda fits. I can imagine them going on a date together to this song, but it's hard to put into words.
Kohiiai: Clusterhug by IDKHBTFM
Just kinda the concept of a clusterhug + the lyric "only if you like me to, I can fall in love with you" is really sweet and I feel like one of them would say it to the other two which leads who the other two confessing and then beginning to feel out the relationship.
Tatsumayo: Arms Tonight by Mother Mother
This totally isn't because I associate a bunch of Mother Mother songs with Mayoi btw. Deff not. Anyways, the idea of loving someone so much they you feel like you're dying whenever they hold you is a v Mayoi concept to me. I could also see the song Ghosting working but I can't really articulate my thoughts on that one that well : p
