FELLOW AUTODESK USER?!?!?! please op you have you tell me your secrets I’ve been toiling away in the trenches for forever its such a pain… or at the very least, how do you choose which pens work for you/you use? its so cool seeing an artist make such amazing art out of the app I complain about all the time /pos lol

ITS LOVELY TO SEE MY BRETHREN HERE!!!!! ok so for brushes i normally tend to choose w a grainy pencil like brush bc it gives the natural appearance that you actually drew w a pencil yk? the specific brush is called the primary pencil and it’s in the basics brush pack if u were wondering. i color everything w the inking pen and soft pencil in the legacy brush pack. i’d recommend alternating between the pen and the soft pencil when shading bc you want some hard edges as well as some soft edges for shadows. applying blush is a little different, i use the watercolor brush for that bc it gives a gentle wash and it’s rly easy to control the sensitivity. also ik a lot of ppl say to utilize layers but if i’m being honest i only use like five layers max💀💀 adding too many layers just confuses u and like ur not cooler the more layers u use or smth like that
