Eden time.

ok. now that I have socks on I can talk about swapstars Eden. despite the socks, they are still very gay. (kidding its like in the negatives fahrenheit today)

Eden is probably the first thing I came up with in this au after Ritsu Alkaloid. That was because i went “wouldnt it be funny if i made a swap au based on auto lineup” and then it stuck with me.

This. is basically just an excuse to blorboify Tatsumi Kazehaya. i went “haha wouldn’t it be ironic if I made Tatsumi the leader of Eden” [emerges from google docs days later covered in blood] “i can explain”

tatsumi starts out pretty similarly. hes a good christian boy. hes perfect. he’s a special student. he goes to reimei to become an idol and spread god’s love to the world.

unfortunately for him. he is a teenage boy. and happens to be gay. at a school for male idols.

yknow the bible verse “if your eye sins against you, pluck it out”?

good christian boys (tatsumi) take that literally. lust is a sin after all.

this, predictably, lands him in the hospital. for physical injuries, obviously, but he also has to go to therapy as part of the recovery process. and that’s where he realizes, hey, maybe taking stuff literally when it tell you to severely injure yourself is… a bad idea. and he gets extremely disillusioned with christianity.

of course, obviously, the next step after renouncing your faith and realizing you have religious trauma? be sexy about it. so he starts reshaping his image as an idol. but it’s hard to carry on a theme by yourself.

one day, he sees kaname – just kaname. he’s practicing by himself, in the hallways, because non-special students can’t reserve practice rooms. But he’s so earnest about it, and determined, and he doesn’t care what other people think–

would it be a stretch to say tatsumi fell in love on the spot?

in any case, tatsumi asked kaname to join him, and that’s how Adam started.

Eve is a different story, at a different school.

shu goes to yumenosaki to become the perfect idol. This vision of perfection is alone, always, except for mademoiselle, who will never hurt him. his classmates do not understand.

kuro, his childhood friend, also goes to yumenosaki to become an idol. he has a rough start, but he joins Castle, a unit with a strong foundation and good people, who want to change yumenosaki for the better.

it’s different, but its the same. one by one, Castle leads crusades for (against) the student body. Shu vanishes from the school itself, and then from the school records, leaving for Reimei.

kuro has helped change Yumenosaki, but at a cost. he hands in his resignation from Castle and desperately follows shu to Reimei, a list of everything that’s gone wrong printed on his heart.

they do work it out, slowly. a new beginning helps. and they join tatsumi and kaname as Eve, to make Eden.

A new beginning.
