Now, it's time to break out my server’s outfit again! A fresh batch of Sealietta (I love their shipname, btw) headcanons is coming right up!
- While not illiterate, Seamus struggles with reading and writing. Having come from a well-educated background, Giulietta helped him improve his reading and writing skills. Seamus loved showing off his newfound skillset by writing Giulietta poems and love letters
- They taught each other how to say “I love you” and “I love you too” in their respective mother tongues. Seamus loves hearing Giulietta tell him she loves him in Irish Gaelic, and likewise, Giulietta adores hearing the Italian words for “I love you” leave Seamus’s lips
- Seamus took Giulietta horseback riding. Whenever they rode through Coyote Gorge, they felt free from the worries and responsibilities the world was putting on them
- Seamus planned to propose to Giulietta using his mother’s engagement ring. She had given it to him before he left Ireland, and it was a beautiful ring with plenty of love tied to it. He vowed to save enough money to buy them proper wedding rings, but he knew his mother’s engagement ring would be a perfect way to show his love to Giulietta, even if his mother would have been against him marrying an Italian girl
- The feathers Giulietta and Seamus wore during Coyote Gorge were purposely bought so they could match each other
- When Seamus was on the run during Crimson Banks, Giulietta would leave food, water, and other supplies for him in secret locations. Even if they couldn't be together, Giulietta would support Seamus in any way she could to help keep him safe
- After Seaums was killed, Giulietta added his picture to a locket she owned, where she kept a photo of her sister. She wears it to keep two of the people she loves most close to her heart
- Giulietta could never bring herself to love another man as she had loved Seamus. Every time she considered opening her heart to someone new, she would compare the potential suitor to Seamus, and they always fell short of meeting her expectations. Eventually, she stopped looking for someone to replace the love she lost and instead looked for love and happiness in different ways, never forgetting her love for Seamus
I held off answering this request until I had written Blue Blazes since that’s the first time Seamus and Giulietta met! Though I would have sworn it was earlier for some reason…
