CC Antagonists Tier Ranking + Some Explanations

CC Inkember 2023 Bonus: David Jones (Anger)

I wrote this short fanfic as part of something larger I've been cooking for a while that I hope to release at some point...but I thought this snippet fit really well with last year's Inkember post, so I decided to release it as a little bonus. Spoilers for case 52 of The Conspiracy under the cut!

CC Inkember 1-3 (Grimsborough Days*)

So as many of you have already seen, there's a fun CC Instagram challenge going on, where each day, you can pick a character to draw. I decided to group drawings I do for it by game. Here's my s1 drawings!

*There's another Grimsborough character day tomorrow, but unfortunately, I'm not feeling well right now and don't really have the energy to draw, so I'm dropping these drawings today!

What's your favorite "killer becomes a victim" case in CC?

Pretty self-explanatory. I tend to think those cases are some of the best in all of CC, and several of these cases are quite popular, so I'm curious--out of all of them, which one was your favorite?

Note: I'm only counting cases where someone who was revealed to be the killer of a case who then becomes a victim, so people who masterminded/ordered, but did not personally commit, murders such as Archie Rochester or Natasha Romanova, people who killed someone off-screen but weren't convicted for it during the game, such as Father Donovan or Ruth Wu, or even people who murdered someone on-screen but weren't arrested and convicted, such as Denise Daniels, don't count.

Thanks to Tumblr's poll limits, I couldn't put all 12 cases where the killer is the victim. The cases I decided to leave out were Death without Parole, where Kev O'Connell is killed, and The Third Degree, where Theresa Rosenthal was killed, considering I figured that those were probably the least memorable out of all of these cases. If those were your favorite "killer becomes the victim" cases, uh, sorry about that.

yeah Meera was a bit of a monster as well, but hey this fit WAY too well. I'd reject Bateman, too. I mean his confession to her must have been absolutely insane. "I thought it was impossible for me to feel love until I met you, because of you, I can actually feel things now" like they spent a few hours tops with each other. Wtf. I'd laugh at him, too. Anyways, friendly random reminder that Bateman is not redeemable in the slightest and Meera x Bateman is a really gross ship imo

mini rant about Julia Brine's wasted potential

hi. I am back with even more Ad Astra stuff, this time with something to complain about. I'm hardly the first person to talk about this, but it's something that's bothered me ever since I played The Conspiracy. Spoilers under the cut.

Thank you so much anon! That means a lot to me. I'm always a little worried when I say something about him because I think he's a really, really interesting character but what he does is vile, vile, vile, from spying on Zoe, trying to kill her, actually killing her, leering at his cellmate, threatening to send someone after his lawyer's family if she didn't get him out of prison, and anything else that might be slipping my mind. If someone wrote an essay about why they hate him, chances are high I'd agree with pretty much everything they say be like "yep, that's valid." In my drawing, I definitely wanted to portray him as absolutely pathetic, but NOT in a "aww, poor little meow meow :(" pathetic, but rather, "what an absolute worthless excuse of a man who can't handle the consequences of his actions once things don't go his way and only cares about himself" pathetic in that post. One of my mutuals and I headcanon that he'd be like one of those killers/criminals who faint in court after their sentence is passed because they're absolutely pathetic pieces of trash who again, can't handle getting comeuppance for the heinous stuff they've done.

A sister poll to this, I'm curious about said poll's opposite...which member of Ad Astra do you think is the least redeemable? The most evil, the least likely to change, the most vile, all that kinda stuff being irredeemable entails?

A sister poll to this. Title is pretty self explanatory--which of the five members of Ad Astra is the most redeemable in your opinion? The least evil, the most capable of changing, all of that kinda stuff that redemption entails? This isn't asking who your favorite member of the group is, just who you think is the most redeemable.

Breaking News: Local Privileged White Man Realizes He Is Not Invincible

First of all: do not accuse me of trying to woobify Louis I BEG I know he is a BAD PERSON! But I also think he is an interesting character, especially because "villain who knows they've been outsmarted and outplayed by a greater villain and knows said greater villain is going to kill them" is one of my favorite tropes, and that is exactly what was happening to Leroux during Airport, which is my favorite district of The Conspiracy.

Second of all: We know that Leroux was panicking and knew he was in danger before he exploded and died in his prison cell, and that all tied back to him breaking into the dome controlled by SARA and Denise's secret lab, finding out about the neohumans, her betrayal of Ad Astra, etc, and her blocking him from sending that message to his co conspirators. I theorize/headcanon that before he died, she enjoyed psychologically tormenting him by sending him death threats and the like in the days leading up to his arrest and death, considering she knew about his break in as early as the end of the first case in Airport, leading Louis to start to absolutely panic, knowing his days were numbered and he knew she knew he knew. My favorite one of these headcanons is the idea that, like how he snuck a camera into Zoe's room to spy on her and her powers, someone snuck a camera into his apartment to spy on him and mess with him. Karma!

It's exactly what the title says. I'm currently trying to procrastinate my midterm studying as much as possible, so I decided to make some voice claims! I had quite some fun with this.

I tried to choose audio that at least sort of connected to the characters, but I kinda missed with Archie....ignore that.
