I really, really love horror movies. You wouldn't know it based on my portfolio but it's a super dreamjob of mine to work on a horror monster project. With that said I wanted to dip my toes into the genre. Imagine if we got a movie/game with dinosaurs like this, I'd die. #Art #illustration #drawing #digitalart #photoshop #painting #rjpalmer #artistsoninstagram #arvalis #dinosaur #jurassicpark #jurassicworld #raptor #dinocrisis #monster #horror #scary https://www.instagram.com/p/B-xgb59jeVO/?igshid=41wk4j7tl9eg
Hey guys its been a while. Here's something I did a few weeks back that I just got the go ahead to reveal. So here it is, the new big boy for The Isle, Magnaraptor vulgis. As I'm sure most of you know I lean real hard on accuracy in my dinosaur art, so doing an intentionally incorrect monster dinosaur was a really fun exercise. I got to play with some of my favorite lizard traits and make something that I felt was a good twist on the classic Jurassic Park aesthetic. Anyway I hope you guys dig this piece, it took a good while to finish. Also I'm like super pleased with those spiderwebs that I painted.
Make sure to check out The Isle, available now on Steam
Made myself some Saurian dinosaur emoticons for my twitch subscribers. #trex #triceratops #dakotaraptor #pachycephalosaurus #saurian #dinosaurs #tyrannosaurusrex #raptor #icon #twitch
Some recent design work I did for The Isle of an intentionally inaccurate Utahraptor. The top one is the design we landed on. Its not Jurassic Park, I swear.
Hey guys check out this new illustration I did for Saurian. A sneaky acheroraptor is keeping a watchful eye on a mystery dinosaur. Bet you cant guess what it is. Larger size here
I was learning to draw some dromeosaurs earlier this week and I wanted to apply what I learned for a dragon. So I call this thing a Rufous Grimkite and it exists within the same creature canon as pit griffins and Teal-mouth Thornhawks.
Finished a massive illustration yesterday, so I spent a little while today putting together a resin dinosaur kit as a treat. I just finished gluing the pieces together, I haven't seamed it yet. Its my first resin kit, I'll post a few more process photos as I get time to work more on it. I'm going to add porcupine quills to it to give it an almost feathered look.
