Last stream before Christmas! Tonight's continued playthrough of KOTOR 2 is tinted with holiday cheer, complete with channel points to make it snow!
I had made a Holo Carth for my KOTOR 1 twitch playthrough and learned a few things in the process. Now that I've moved on to streaming KOTOR 2, I figured Atton should get the treatment too, lol. I did end up making his holo a little more blue tinted, but other than that the Carth holo actually taught me a lot about the process, and also how much I hate that After Effects noms away at my pc's memory like it's candy 😑

I finally stopped procrastinating and animated that Carth video I had mentioned a while back. Just spent an evening on it since my attention span's just that bad, lol. It's the last bit of dialogue he has with the Exile in KOTOR2, talking about waiting for Revan. It's pretty heartbreaking audio, and I always felt that the tone when he says to tell Revan he's waiting for her sounds like deep down he knows he'll never see her again. I couldn't help thinking of Fry's dog when I was working on this ;n;
Thank you so much for uploading the Atton audio, I've been looking for it for AGES. (I'm on a Mac, so I couldn't play the file myself.) Is there romance-related dialogue if he survives? It's so heartbreaking that they cut so much from what could have been an even greater game. Atton was my first Bioware romance, and so it's so wonderful to her him finally utter these words. Thanks once again. :)
I'm not sure if this was really meant for if he survives, but I always thought THIS EDIT that I had made around the same time as the other one sounded more like a happy-ending scenario. I'm glad you liked it! :)
Click ze title! Another audio edit I did back in the day for yet another cut part of KOTOR 2, this time being a showdown between the Disciple Mical and Atton Rand.
Did anyone else make Atton go completely dark side and touch that dark force in Freedom Nadd's tomb in Dxun? I remember doing that and speaking to Atton later and he was so haunted / shaken up from sudmitting to the dark side that I instantly felt bad for him. Couldn't make him DS after that DX
I was going through some of my old KOTOR stuff and remembered the infamous "Atton Dies" scene that had been cut from KOTOR 2. For those that didn't know, one of the many bits that didn't make it in the final game was the chance that Atton could die on Malachor V (most likely by the hands of Darth Sion). From a previous deleted/cut scene (which I'll put up later) he has a rather one-sided confrontation with Sion, so presumably the Exile finds him shortly after. I edited the clips together with some ROTJ music and had made a rather crappy drawing at the time to go with it:
Kind of makes me want to revisit it, as I know I could do a MUCH better comic page based on it now...
