- Holiday Closure Notice -

*Please note that all the dates below are in Japan Standard Time (JST).

The MediBang office will be closed from Dec. 30, 2017 to Jan. 3, 2018. Questions that we receive regarding MediBang, MediBang Works, MediBang Paint, JUMP PAINT by MediBang, MangaName, MediBang Colors, or any of our contests, etc. won’t be answered until we return on Jan. 4, 2018.

Hi natsuki-yuukiro,

Protect Alpha makes it so that you only color on a certain area of your canvas that has been painted. Take a cat for example. If you paint a cat on one layer, add Protect Alpha and then use your brush to color, it will only color on the cat (on that layer) and nowhere else.

We recently had a question where someone asked how they could change the look of their eraser! That’s not possible on MediBang Paint right now, but you can change your brush to create the same effect!

How to:

1. Select the Brush Tool first! (Not the eraser)

2. Next, select the transparent box near your selected colors by the Color box.

3. Now select the brush that you'd like to use under Brush. You should now have the effect you want! Draw away!

Done!

For some reason (I use the desktop version), every time I use the eyedropper tool to select a color, my mouse just dissapears off the screen. Do you think this is a problem with the software or just my computer?
