I use medibang on the computer and I was wonder if there was a transform button like on the mobile version, and where it is if there is one

Hi Anonymous,

You can easily access transform by pressing the Command Key(macs) or CNTRL key and then T to bring up transform.

Hope this helps!

Hey, Medibang team. How do you make a multi brush with separate objects of the same subject, like the Salad brushes?

Hey Anonymous,

How do I flip an object (not the whole canvas) on an Android?

We recently received this question and want to share the answer with you!

To flip an object on an Android device, just follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your MediBang Account and open your canvas. 2. Press on the Select Tool in the toolbar at the top of your canvas. 3. Select the shape you would like to use for your selection. 4. Now press the Select Tool in the toolbar at the bottom of your canvas. (This will bring up a small menu.)

5. Press on Free Transform. 6. Press on the dot at the side of the object that you wish to flip and drag it to the other side of the object. (You can enable Perspective correction at this time to maintain the shape's perspective if you'd like.) 7. If you're happy with the changes then press SET. (If not, select CANCEL.)

Please see the tutorial on our website for more! https://medibangpaint.com/en/use/2016/01/scaling-and-transforming-2/

We hope this helps you create amazing art.

Is it possible to make a gradient with more than 2 colors on the Windows version? Thanks!

Avatar

Hi sagardaa,

At this time you can only use two colors if you use Foreground-Background to create a gradient, however you can manually create a similar look with Foreground! (Circular or Linear)

To do this:

1. Select your Shape (Circular or Linear)2. Click on the box beside Type and then select Foreground.3. Use your first color. 4. Select your next color and then draw over the previous one.

For the example above, we chose Circular but either one will work.

We hope this helps.

Happy drawing!

the new update makes the drawing look blurry when you zoom in/out, was this meant to happen? it just looks weird and bothers me a bit, even though its not really that big of a deal

Hi Anonymous,

In the latest update for MediBang Paint (version 13.0), zooming in or out with two fingers may result in a reduced image quality. It is possible that zooming may be placing stress on your device depending on its specs. We are looking into this and will release an improved version as soon as possible! We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We recently had a question where someone asked how they could change the look of their eraser! That’s not possible on MediBang Paint right now, but you can change your brush to create the same effect!

How to:

1. Select the Brush Tool first! (Not the eraser)

2. Next, select the transparent box near your selected colors by the Color box.

image

3. Now select the brush that you'd like to use under Brush. You should now have the effect you want! Draw away!

Done!

Happy drawing everyone! Try out this awesome technique to create beautiful artwork and don’t forget to tag your drawings on MediBang with the tag Halloween to be featured on our Twitter and/or Tumblr!

Hello, can you give me an advice? How to blend colors without blurry effect?

Hi Anonymous,

To blend colors, you could use the watercolor brush and blend the colors together that way. Or, you could download the Oil Paint brush from the cloud and paint with that then go over it with the Smudge brush.

Let us know if you awesome artist’s have a better method!

Hello! I was wondering something about the text tool?? I want to write a sentence with the text tool, but only have one word in the sentence be bold or italics, but the rest of the words are regular. Is this possible? All I can seem to do is make the whole sentence bold or italics, not just the one word lol.

Hi Anonymous,

As you’ve noticed, you can select the whole sentence to be bold or not but unfortunately it’s not possible to bold a single word within the text box at this time.

It’s a bit of a pain, but one solution is to create your sentence and then place it where you like. After you’ve done that then start a new text box and make the word that you want bold. Next overlay it on top of the word that you wanted to be bold on the previous sentence.

Hope this helps!

It’s hard to determine the issue without the specs; your OS, version and application, etc.

Hi! I am new to digital painting and I am sorry if this has been asked before or if I sound extremely stupid, but I don't now about the Blending mode. I know that it changes my layers, but I don't know what they change? Does that even make any sense. Like, 'Multiply' just makes it darker[?] and 'Overlay' makes it lighter[?]?? Thanks in advance for your answer xoxo

Hi Anonymous,

Have you seen this great tutorial on the MediBang Paint website for blending modes? It’s great!

Happy drawing!
