So I noticed something about how potions are drank in Inquisition. Like… Layna, that’s probably not the best way to drink that…

See, look at Dorian, this is flawless. Notice how he hasn’t broken his spine to get a drink? That’s important. Take notes.

Okay, but have you ever watched *Cullen* drink a healing potion? Because he will occasionally do that - he did it on the trip to the Temple of Dumat in my latest playthrough - and I wish I’d been able to take a screenshot because it was so ridiculously elegant. Like “actual Disney prince” levels of smoothness. Sadly, I had no idea it was coming and was unprepared.

These are all friggin’ amazing, but I’m gonna hug whoever will provide a screenshot of Cullen!

Fontofnothing shared this unused game file of Cullen telling the Inquisitor this:

“Honestly, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of you, but we’d only just met.”

Apparently there’s chunk of dialogue that was supposed to be part of “hang time” with Cullen, sort of like Sera’s roof time, and it was cut. There’s a bunch of other chit chat lines but this one - I mean COME ON BIOWARE, COULD YOU NOT HAVE SHOEHORNED THIS IN ANYWAY???

I don’t know if I’m late to the party on this, but I’ve never heard it.

Mayhaps they replaced the “hang out” scene with the chess board scene? (Purely speculation of course)

For the people on PC there is also a mod restoring that dialogue to the game (not sure if it has all the lines), also by @fontofnothing!

In case anyone was wondering, my mod does contain all of the lines that are in the zip file. Some of the lines do require certain plot flags to be set, however.

Restored Cullen Dialogue - My mod that restores the cut dialogue to the game. Check either the README tab on the mod page or the readme file in the download itself for a transcript of the dialogue. The transcript I had originally posted on the Bioware forums is available on Fextralife.

I also uploaded a video of the mod in action over here. “Honestly, I couldn’t keep my eyes off you” is at the end. :)
