Matt’s voices and descriptions are fantastic but sometimes I like to imagine the players just… walking into an entire town of matts. The innkeeper. That shady dude at the bar. Little girls in the streets. An entire group of crowns guard. All just Matt in different outfits.
The next short video they do needs to be this. I just want 23 shots of Matt costumed for and playing all the NPCs while MN does their thing.

The Ladies of Overwatch - Smiles
D.Va smiles like she’s already won. She’s one step ahead and she knows it, reflexes tuned, aim perfected. Her smile is cheshire and genuine and oftentimes directed at someone right before she lands a final, convincing blow against them. Her smile is the kind of smile that breaks slowly over the face like a wave of satisfaction, something lined with strength and confidence. She smiles for fan and foe alike, in the moment before she achieves her victories.
Mei doesn’t smile as often as she used to - before the cold, before the loss, they were things that were given away without thought for how few might be left. Now, they are guarded carefully. tinted slightly with sorrow both for the world she has left behind and for friends now long gone. But even for the colour of sorrow that is often found within them, they remain sweet things that give strength to those who see them.
Mercy’s smiles are small, sweet things that flirt with the corners of her mouth like an uncertain lover. They spread slowly, softly, like the wings of a baby bird before it’s first flight - hesitant but acting in the moment before instinct fades. There’s a short list of things that can bring smiles to Mercy’s face - seeing life move on after struggle, people surviving against the odds, medicine that works, children and families. It is surprising how often she smiles.
Pharah’s smiles are stern things - given rarely, if at all. After years of living in the shadow of others, of proving her strength on her own merits and not her mothers, her smiles are something that are dragged reluctantly across her features - usually controlled behind a cold facade. Her smiles, on occasion, can still surprise her - praise for a job well done, the opportunity to meet a hero, or found (always found) in the simple joy of flying.
Symmetra’s smiles are neither rigid, nor awkward. They are not the taught expression one expects, though it is not freely that she gives them. They are like the rest of her, polished, perfect, practiced until one cannot find fault with them. However, they come at unexpected moments, causing a dissonance through their degree and the way that they occasionally do not match a situation in the way another person might expect them to. Her smirk, however, is a thing her workers and foes have come to love and fear in equal measure, as it only appears when her plans have run to her exacting satisfaction.
Tracer’s smiles are freely given, and like all her emotions they flit across her face as she feels them, or not at all. They’re things full of laughter and cheer, infectious and bright sunbeams that pull on the heart of even the most hardened and broken people. But they cover hurts and bruises and the pain that lurks in the face of the uncertain stability of her existence. This, however, is something that is easier for her to ignore than acknowledge, or, failing that, to laugh away.
Widowmaker’s smiles are jagged like broken glass and ten times as dangerous. Born of satisfaction or of meticulous planning, they are as beautifully deceptive as everything the woman does, as difficult to resist as forbidden fruit and perfectly poised on painted lips to ensnare the unwary. Cold and beautiful as a glacier, they are yet another weapon that a spider has to use against the fly.
Zarya grins roughly, sharp and slanted and as brutally unforgiving as the rest of her can be. Her smiles are usually accompanied by a belly laugh and a zealous force of merriment that cannot be denied, even if one wanted to. However, if she is grinning while there is a drink in her hand and a competition on the table, the wise person would forfeit whatever they hoped to gain in a victory against her.

I just finished reading A mouth full of white lies by @milee-cosgrove and I AM NOT OKAY. It was probably one of the loveliest, saddest, most beautiful Solas stories I have ever read, and I am too full of feelings to not paint a scene from it.
YES. I loved reading this, @milee-cosgrove and @salesart this is gorgeous art for it!!! ♡♡♡ @rarepairsolas this one is great!
