Sunday morning sketches are great for practice and whatever the opposite of grocery shopping is
The more I paint tiny landscapes the more I look at art that's bigger than 2.5x2 inches and think "that must have taken at least eighty years to make"
Landscape studies! And maybe a moving castle.
SOMA fanart continues! I know this scene doesn’t make perfect sense (for spoilery reasons), but I couldn’t resist
Quick painting of a friend’s cool Diablo 3 armor setup because it gave me total Warhammer vibes. Helmet Candles!
Pre judge line! #blizzcon2015#blizzcon#undead#cosplay#worldofwarcraft
My friends and their incredible cosplay they put together! SO GOOD
I set out to draw a singer but I guess she had something else in mind. A friend, grimacing, asked me why the skulls around this character’s waist are so tiny. I didn’t have an answer to that and now I’m grimacing too. WHERE DID THOSE TINY HUMAN SKULLS COME FROM
The Vorpal Hero--a guy who wants all the reputation of a hero without any of the work. I made this as an entry for the Adventure Time Character Contest--wish I could've spent more time on the big version!
You hide one layer by accident and suddenly your entire composition takes place in the distant virtual reality future
Busy week, so I take my drawing fix where I can get it. Tonight that meant quick studies of the people in a documentary I'm watching for class. I didn't know how fun it is to draw the bespectacled elderly!
Dekar and Guy. This is kind of unfair to Dekar--he would totally jump into a dangerous fight--he just spends too much time building up his reputation. (We get it, dude, you kill monsters)
A portrait of Walter Bishop (flashback version) from 3-4 years ago. Never could come up with an Olivia or Peter portrait I was happy with but that's alright--Walter's my favorite anyway
A quick random portrait--I wanted her hair to look like a thunderstorm, but instead it kind of looks like a cracked painting. Oh well. You'll always be Ol' Thunderstorm Hair to me
Some quick doodles that happened when I started imagining what fictional doctors would be like as teaching assistants. Doc Ock would never have to worry about turning his back to the class to write on the board! Lucky.
Jeff, the hill did nothing to deserve that.
More practice with inking and background art. Feel like I learned a lot here that I can use for the next project
When I give up on a portrait I'm all like "it's only after we've lost everything that we're free to add face tattoos to anything"
