It was a little over a week later when Sakura said a tearful goodbye to the Kusagakure medical team at the gates of the village with a promise that she would return soon. After weeks of training them, she had developed deep bonds with each of the medics, particularly with Tsumugi. Sakura smiled at the carefully wrapped pack she held in her hands as she headed down the path away from the village.
