i’m trying to keep up with my dash and blog and stuff but i’m failing lol

why, you might ask? well

  • this is my final semester at university. not only do i have a lot of coursework, but i gotta figure stuff like grad photos out
  • also i’m trying to do activities and attend events and things i won’t be able to when i’m no longer a student at my school
  • i’ve also taken on two personal projects. one is to learn how to play “Yuri on Ice” (got 90% of the notes; just gotta work it up to speed now)
  • the second is to arrange and perform “In Regards to Love: Eros” in an ensemble for orchestra club during our spring concert =OOO which is in a few short weeks @___@ arranging is freaking hard, man

so yeah!! just a lil update for y’all ^__^

so I stumbled upon some Discourse and I’ve been up to my ears in it for the past 2 hours and I’m just like, why can’t I have just one thing? why can’t one thing I’m invested in be as good as I initially thought it was and would be?

anyway I don’t want to get into it so I’ll just say that 1) nothing will ever convince me that YoI isn’t legitimately good, at least in some respects, despite some people’s thoughts to the contrary, and 2) if vic//tuuri isn’t established as an explicitly romantic relationship 100% without a doubt in season 2 I will be very disappointed and Tired (edit: maybe not very disappointed but a little, and i’m always tired so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

i considered making a sideblog for figure skating stuff because i don’t think anyone follows me for that and tbh i don’t think it really ‘fits’ this blog BUT figure skating has been declining in popularity for a while and if i can help bring more attention to it at all, i want to!!! and now seems like a good time for it, what with the current hot sports anime being about figure skating and all

just got. my wisdom teeth out and it was the weirdest thing I almost fell asleep before it started?? laughing gas... like I understood everything and followed instructions but it felt really disconnected also I don't appreciate that they said my feeling loopy afterwards was all in my head bc they'd turned off the gas 5 min ago bc it's only now as I finish this post that my head feels halfway normal again

i just rewatched TFP because my sister hadn’t watched it and afterwards she said it was “brilliance” and that everything made sense to her... like what happened?? i kept complaining and pointing out discrepancies but she still?? in contrast, last week my friend, who said it was sad when mary died, said TFP was bad and we both dragged it for a bit so it’s like she and my sister flipped hehe

I hate with the fire of a thousand suns that google now requires you to confirm on your phone your sign-in on a new computer some people don't have their phone on them all the time and consequently can't get at their google drive or whatever because you put in new security measures that they didn't ask for, screw you google
