Inktober Day 9: Dark Days
as much as I love the later books in the series (db, kotw, TDOTL…) dark days was the official Point of No Return for me, and I STILL get so caught up in the first half of the book even though I know exactly how it ends.

Inktober 3! Lucy of Lockwood and Co! Finally got a copy of the second book, and getting back to it after being distracted by An Enchantment of Ravens, lol.
I’ve been doing these straight to ink so far, which, while hard, is actually really helping me. Recently, I’ve been getting stuck in a loop of erasing while sketching and then getting frustrated and quitting. Not wanting to leave a big ugly scribble in my nice moleskin has motivated me to actually fix my fuck ups instead of quitting, lol.
Also, I finally got to do a trendy post it!!!

the first time I read Ptolemy’s gate, I half thought Makepeace was going to pull out an evening dress for Kitty when she got unwillingly got +1’d to his opera. I still wish that happened because 1) it would have hinted Makepeace knew a little too much earlier on 2) nothing brings me greater joy than action scenes in fancy dresses
