the way lich emmrich says like "i will let nothing part us again not in this nor any other world" coupled with his "You're going to die one day and I'll grieve forever" pre-finale fight convo. like that is a guy who did NOT learn to let go and acknowledge what immortality actually means wrt his relationship w mortals and who is GOING to crash out when rook dies and probably disregard the Lich Rules to resurrect them.

I don’t think Solas and Lavellan are trapped in the Fade prison, actually. During the final battle Solas tells Rook that the prison is built of regrets and that he had to mold them into someone the prison would accept in his place in order to escape. Rook gets out because they overcome their regrets with the companions’ help, especially those they feel they wronged. A redeemed Solas is likely not without regrets by the end of Veilguard, but they’re certainly alleviated. And a romanced Solas with Lavellan beside him? They go together, by choice. I don’t think the prison will hold them.

giggling and kicking my feet (devious) thinking about how hard everyone would struggle with amadea being gone. ariel is already grieving not having her around -- esp after she just lost her other mentor too -- and the stress of trying to look after her kids and the kids are also grieving their mom and don't fully understand what happened. and ariel can handle fighting gods but a five year old asking her not to read to him because her elven isn't as good as his mom's IS the final straw.

man i feel bad for amadea her man is covered in blood and bruises and he's crying and so sad and pathetic but also like three hours ago was protecting civilians and working w the anti-slavery faction and throwing massive blight tentacles around like they weighed nothing and then tore the throat out of an archdemon
