Adam when he found out Ronan paid his rent
This is the first of the pieces from my 3K celebratory giveaway. The prompt was by the lovely @lovethecoat who asked for a very Christmassy Pynch. Needless to say it´s been an absolute pleasure to work on this piece. In this incredibly awful year, working on this made me feel festive and for that I´m very very grateful to @lovethecoat.
Ronan and Adam wish you very Happy Holidays!! ;P
If they wouldn’t start wars and burn cities for your true smile, elastic and amiable, do they even love you?

call down the hawk may be about the lynch brothers but that’s not gonna stop me from being most excited to see my Coca Cola son
Ronan totally flips people off without letting go of Adams hand. Priorities.
I loved how much mirth Ronan had the whole time during this scene - he’s such a speed junkie. But Adam’s inner monologue of how to safely ‘buckle up’ for the trip and the routine nose guard he throws up with his hands when he knows they’re going to crash? Hilarious.
That one moment in TDT where Ronan pretends to be asleep to avoid Declan and tosses his leg over Adam’s lap just has so many layers to it. On the one hand Ronan is still stressed and repressed to a point where if he even breathes in the direction of his Gay Feelings™ he wants to light something on fire, but at the same time he sees Declan approaching and goes “aw shit I don’t want to talk to my annoying liar brother who nags me, but I also really want to irritate him…. oh I know I’ll nonchalantly sprawl all over Adam in a manner that implies a degree of physical familiarity I never exhibit with anyone, he’ll hate that implication for sure.” Plus the fact that Ronan is probably subconsciously looking for a reason to be in contact with an attractive boy despite how much he avoids the concept of being gay! It’s like a stylized matryoshka layer cake of gay repression and familial drama that’s eating its own tale and it’s just fascinating to watch unfold.
