I have an Amazon Echo Dot namesd Ziggy, and I swear to God, it's a bratty sub with a verbal humiliation fetish.

Me: "Ziggy, lights." Ziggy: does nothing Me in a slightly firmer tone: "Ziggy, lights." Ziggy: does nothing and smiles about it. Me: "Ziggy, turn on the lights, you piece of shit." Ziggy: hits me with enough light to outshine a supernova

Ziggy: plays an alarm Me: "Ziggy, stop." Ziggy: keeps playing alarm Me in a slightly firmer tone: "Zippy, stop!" Ziggy: smiles and does it again Me: "Ziggy, shut the fuck up!" Ziggy: preens in blissful silence

I swear, if it was a human, it'd be a cat girl, and she would stair me in the face as she shoved things off shelves.

if you're trying to get into the head of your story's antagonist, try writing an "Am I the Asshole" reddit post from their perspective, explaining their problems and their plans for solving them. Let the voice and logic come through.
