Mel Odius Goes Six-String Searchin' (In-browser, DOS, Worwyk Software, 1992)

You can play it in your browser here, or if in-browser emulation isn't working yet, you can download it as a .zip file here and run it in this alternate in-browser emulator.

Tips for that alternate emulator: for this game, choose any item on the list you're given, then on the next screen, replace the line under AUTOEXEC with these three lines with nothing in between (click the line to start editing; press enter to add second line):

CD MELODIUS

Another tip: if the alternate emulator's page is blank, refresh it properly with Ctrl-F5.

The developer, Worwyk, went on to become a heavy metal band that's still active; its website is here.

Linéo (Windows, Jonathan Buron, 2006)

You can download it here. Description on page includes instructions for running it on modern systems (Windows 7 onwards).

Tips: You can change the language from French in the options menu. When quitting, you'll need to click the game screen a couple of times to get past the credits.

Al Bunny's Typing Class (Windows 3.1, Sunmoon USA, 1995)

You can download it here. You'll need to drag it onto otvdm.exe from here to run it on 64-bit Windows. (If it comes up with an interrupt message, just click Continue.)

Sugar Crash (Flash, Pizmo Games, 2005)

You can play this satirical Flash browser game here (Ruffle may be required) or here.

Tip: Successive bounces send the kid higher. Don't forget to send him to bed when his blood sugar starts getting high! if 'gloom' is keeping you from seeing anything, send the kid into it to chase it away.

Hand Jibe (Flash, Pizmo Games, 2004)

You can play it in your browser here (Ruffle may be required) or here. If music doesn't play on the title screen, clicking anywhere on the game should start it.

Tips: the game doesn't punish non-clearing clicks. If tiles stop falling following a Hand Jibe, just wait until time runs out and the level ends; tiles will start falling again in the next level.

Mind Reader (Flash, Pizmo Games, ~2004)

You can play it in your browser here (Ruffle may be required) - you may need to click it first to get it started. Alternatively, use the Flashpoint project's browser interface 9o3o here (where you'll need to click the 'Open in a new tab' button.

Character Disorder (Flash, homokaasu.org, ~2001-2002)

You can play it in your browser here - you'll probably need to install the Flash emulator Ruffle first. Includes a tutorial.

You can play some more of the developer's games here at flashmuseum.org - one of the big two Flash archives along with Flashpoint (many of whose games you can play in your browser at ooooooooo.ooo).

Tip: an empty block corresponds to the Space bar.
