Grizzly (Classic Mac, Adam Winiecki, 1995)

You can download Grizzly 1.3.1 here or here (click SHOW ALL under DOWNLOAD OPTIONS; don't download the version starting with ._ as it is empty), and run it by following these instructions:

  1. Open this Infinite Mac in-browser emulator.
  2. Drag the .sit file onto the emulated desktop.
  3. Open The Outside World, then Downloads, then open the file you'll find.
  4. Open the folder that appears and run Grizzly. (If no folder appears, close and reopen the Downloads folder.)

Barbarian (DOS, SiEn Art, 1996)

You can play it in your browser here. Controls include arrows, Ctrl and Alt. The intro plays slow but you can skip it by pressing Esc (twice if the game has captured the mouse cursor).

Meat Gone Bad (Classic Mac, Michael Weyandt, ~1994)

You can download it here as meat_gone_bad_f.zip, but don't open it. Instead, drag the .zip file onto the emulated desktop here, then open The Outside World, then Downloads, and open the folder you find, then use the scrollbars to find the game folder.

Gadget: Invention, Travel & Adventure/Past as Future (Windows, Synergy, 1993/1997)

You can download both versions of this bizarre CD-ROM adventure game, along with the OST, the artbook, and the super-obscure 1995 game Four-Sight by the same developers, all pre-configured to work on modern versions of Windows, here.

You can digitally borrow the tie-in novel, written by Marc Laidlaw, here.

Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles Adventure Game (Windows 3.1/Classic Mac, 1995)

You can view the boxart here, and follow these ‘fun’ instructions (none of which are the fault of Infinite Mac’s developer) to play it:

  1. Download it from here.
  2. Drag the file onto the emulated Mac desktop here.
  3. Open The Outside World, then Downloads, where you’ll find the file.
  4. Double-click it. Be patient - an emulated CPU is doing the decompressing here. You can use another tab during this part - it won’t pause the emulation.
  5. You should see a new folder containing a .toast file. (If you don't, close and re-open the Downloads folder.)
  6. Drag the .toast file into the Uploads folder in The Outside World, then wait. After a much shorter wait than last time, it will be suddenly downloaded by your browser, in a .zip file.
  7. Extract the .toast file from the .zip file, then drag it onto the emulated desktop.
  8. A new icon should appear on the desktop - open it, then run the installer. After the emulated system restarts, drag the .toast file onto the dekstop again, then open Macintosh HD and run the game from the new Martian folder in there.
