Hello I am back on my Discworld bullshit after reading Moving Pictures. I started it in the middle of my GCSEs and god. Was not ready to be hit with the biggest exam student ‘me fr’ of all time. Victor Tugelbend you are officially crowned king of every exam student ever you learned one thing for your exams and applied it to the apocalypse and it worked.

I drew Nadeem again because I love this dumbass and I have feelings about him. I know it isn’t symmetrical, I’m lazy and I have no time because physics revision 🫡

GCSEs are almost over so oh boy I will have much more time to be an idiot after this Friday.

An attempt to finally learn how to draw this man properly, because I saw some brilliant work by @comicalps and went “Fuck it, why not?”

I did this instead of revising for English Language so if my grades get fucked up it was at least worth it.

I had this glorious mental image of Lars, Nadeem and probably Trevor and Lucky in a dark tunnel when the torch goes out so somebody whacks Nadeem on the back of the head and uses him instead. Enjoy this illustration that does not do it credit.

Guys, this team would abuse the hell out of having a pyrokinetic at their disposal. Not that Nadeem wouldn’t join in (him and Trevor would definitely take time out during missions to go roast marshmallows in the corner), but the others definitely take advantage of the situation.

Jack Seward in 15 minutes on a maths paper lol

Couldn’t think of anything else to draw to keep me sane in maths so I doodled Jack Seward on my practice paper.

I can’t quite capture how insane and disheveled he SHOULD look I’m afraid and anyway this took me 15 minutes so y’know.

I legitimately don’t remember how the book describes him but this is how I imagined him when my ten year old ass looked at the sad wet cat character among the several excellent specimen in that book and was like “That’s the one. That’s who’s going to inspire 5+ years of writing.”

A really old drawing (excuse it being absolutely shite) I did of Nick Diamond and Alex Rider after reading the first couple of Alex Rider books in school (grew up with Diamond Brothers, had only just started Alex Rider when I drew this. Don’t ask me why man I really don’t know).

The treatment of Alex and Nick by the British secret service is just fucking hilarious to me. With Alex they’re like “Oh… he’s 14. This has to be immoral… but it’s the only choice!” and meanwhile they straight up use Nick (who might even be 13 in this incident because I don’t remember where he ages up lmao) as bait for one of the world’s most dangerous assassins with an established kill streak after abandoning him and his brother in the Netherlands.

It’s also so funny going into Alex Rider after the Diamond Brothers because Alex is actually capable of fighting back. Like he’s actually fit. He can run. And fight. Nick Diamond could never. Poor boy only gets fed properly like three times a week, he’s malnourished. (Although he’s also kinda batshit unhinged so he does have that going for him).

I think they’d have an epic partnership though if Nick ever gets entangled in MI6 bullshit again (quite likely).

Maybe I should redraw this ngl.

Just some tests/practices to make sure I can actually draw these guys before I start actually drawing stuff of them (not my two favourite characters from Ghosbusters Frozen Empire being complete opposites in every single way).

But yeah, a while back, I drew Nowhere Boys to the lyrics of Dresden Dolls’ Dear Jenny. Because the song reminded me so much of this goddamn show that was fundamental to the development of my childhood brain that I drew it.
