Supernatural cosplayers?

So we're at AnimeNEXT. Friday (officially yesterday) we did Supernatural. Did anyone see us? We had Sam, Dean, and Castiel and sometimes Bobby. Sam is super tall and was wearing moose antlers, Dean had a shotgun and a bottle of whiskey and I (Castiel) had a pair of black wings on. Oh, and the brothers were covered with dirt and blood. (When are they not, though?) So if anyone saw us or took pictures, let me knooow <3 (Some of those might have been Destiel shipping pictures too haha)  Oh, and if anyone has any information on the Jersey Devil, we're here to hunt it 

So I asked my friend, (tomorrowisalatterday): "What if Castiel became Doctor Sexy?" This was her reply. I can't breathe.   

Dear Supernatural fandom, I am internet illiterate and require an assist! (And I'll reward you! Maybe!)

(I'm not really internet illiterate, but I'm not as savvy as I need to be, apparently.)  So a few years ago, I was heavily into this one fandom (we won't talk about which one, it's embarrassing) and today, after a bout of nostalgia for the fandom, I realized that what I missed was not so much the subject matter, but the close-knit community (despite almost 50,000 members) that was fostered by the fandom-specific website I was frequenting.  Now, I hate that website, I hate the way it's run and a lot of other things about it which I won't get into, I always did, and I'm not interested in that fandom any longer. However, I do long for the sense of camaraderie between fans that I just feel like I'm not getting from larger websites like Tumblr , and I want that for my current fandoms, particularly Supernatural. I miss that almost small-town, everybody-knows-everybody type closeness, and I'm sure it's out there somewhere for the SPN fandom - I just have to find it. A few searches into uncharted territory (Navigating Livejournal is still a mystery to me D: ) have proved frustrating, so I turn to you, dear fandom.  All I want are some links to SPN communities that specifically cater to fanfiction and/or Destiel, preferably both. Pretty much any website but ff.net, since I'm not a particular fan of that site either. +100 points if site/community is/has a live chatroom, because absolutely nothing is better than chatting with fandom buddies about gay porn fiction in real time. :D In fact, if you find me one with an active chatroom, I'll write you a SPN oneshot. Preferably Destiel, (Or Samifer, totally down with Samifer) but whatever you want to prompt me with is cool. I don't have many squicks. I know I'm not a known author in the SPN fandom, and I'm a little rusty, but I USED to be a *fairly* well-known author in the fandom-that-shall-not-be-named, so it'll be decent. XD So yeah. About that chatroom. :D

For a long time, despite shipping it myself, I thought most of the Destiel in Supernatural was just over-analysis by fans who wanted it to be real.

But then, watching clips of the two of them without the recorded dialogue, their body language and eyes are screaming sexual tension and holy shit how do I even deal with this, my body can't, I CAN'T DEAL WITH IT, I NEED A MINUTE *breathes* im still catching up on season eight too oh god im going to die

if Dean and Castiel have sex, are they inadvertently raping Jimmy?  I still ship it but now I feel kind of bad  EDIT: To those who keep saying, 'Jimmy is dead' - Jimmy’s death was never confirmed. Even after his body is totally destroyed and resurrected, there continue to be signs that he is still attached to it. Even Misha said he believed Jimmy was still locked in the body. Unless there's evidence in an episode I haven't seen yet, there's no proof that Jimmy isn't still in there.  But, yanno, whatever helps you ship sleep at night, I guess.  

I went to the bookstore to look for a book on Enochian. I didn't find one, but I did find this. I may have a problem.  But the dedication page itself makes it worth it. 

Supernatural Series Ending Theories

A sad example of humanity

So today this guy walks up to the counter while I'm at work, and I notice he's wearing a shirt unbuttoned at the collar, a battered brown leather jacket, and his short dirty-blonde hair is spiked up in the front. As a bonus, he's not totally unattractive either. After taking his order, I can't resist commenting. "I really like your whole, uh, style," I say, gesturing vaguely to his ensemble.  "Oh, thanks." I smile awkwardly, trying not to blush at the supreme loser-geekness I'm about to display. "I have to be honest, I like it because it reminds me of a character from one of my favorite shows." Looking mildly interested, the guys asks, "Oh? What character?" "Dean from Supernatural." My god, I think to myself, I am a sad example of humanity. I feel sorry for this customer that has to put up with my crazy. But then he smiles and says, "Oh cool, that's what I was going for."  "Really?!" I yelp excitedly like a small dog, and suddenly I'm babbling something about cosplaying Castiel and I can feel my whole head going crimson and whatever he says in reply is lost because the screaming in my head is so loud, I can't hear a goddamn thing.  It was awesome. And I am still a sad example of humanity. But it's worth it.

Supernatural is one of those shows that sneaks up on you.

By the end of season one, I was like, "This show is okay, but I'll never get into this fandom."

And now I find myself at the end of season four, blasting classic rock every time I get in my car and desperately googling "WHY ISN'T DESTIEL CANON?!"
