I've decided that I will end part 1 of the teaser comic there (yes, in that cliffhanger), or else act 2 of the fanfic will end first than the comic. (；一_一)

I gotta make it short because, one, it's a teaser, and two, the longer I make it, the more stuff I will end up spoiling, and some dialogues/scenes will look broken/incomplete or nonsense or both because I tried to "cut spoilers" from it.
I'm still going to tease with less spoiler-ish stuff, but as for story details, you'll have to wait for the fic updates from now on.
Also, we may have an update on the drawing style because I have been practicing something new.

Arcane: The Toymaker AU - tm!Caitlyn final lore and design
Caitlyn got her lore so entangled with the main one that she became part of the main focused characters. She got that spotlight when I started working on Hexgate's Incident/Creation of ArcTech.
I still find it funny how I made her relationship with Jinx utterly different from canon; they are best friends in this AU.

I present to you a critical negative point in being an ArcTech user: the user's mind and body are connected to their companion, so, if said machine is hurt the user will feel pain and if the damage was made by some magical energy it will ricochet on them.
ArcTech can only be damaged with magic, normal weapons and elements won't do a scratch on it. Like, for example, if an Enforcer shoot Mr.Fish, the bullets will be reflected. Viktor wouldn't be running away from Ekko if his weapon used normal electricity.

Act 2 is definetly more focused on Jinx and Viktor than in the other characters; originaly, the story from this (now an) act was supposed to be just a 10 years timeskip, but I ended up adding so much important details that I resolved to make it's own act. A lot... just A LOT of angst will happen, many fluff too don't worry.

I like the idea of Jinx/Zeri but I was wondering if you would consider a pansexual Jinx, who is in a poly relationship with both Zeri and Ekko (when he eventually pulls his head out of his backside)?
There are three reasons why I ask this:
1) I'm a shameless Timebomb shipper, but do actually see both Jinx and Ekko being quite taken with Zeri.
2) Pansexuality and poly relationships don't often take forefront in most FICS I've read, and I think it would be interesting to see.
3) I reckon it would add some romantic angst if Ekko held a torch for both girls, try and accept that he has no chance with either (especially with Jinx, after he turned the Firelights against her because of his own feelings 🥺🥺🥺), and then watch with amusement when both girls go to him and say "I mean. I'm open to this, if you are" and have Ekko.exe stop working 😂😂😂

I have been thinking about this the entire day and I gotta say....

I'm down for that! I'm a (arcane) timebomb shipper (I also like Ekko/Zeri) and I personally have a thing that I need plot context to do/add a ship in the stories I'm writing; During act 3 Ekko and Jinx are trying to get back in good terms (Viktor, Caitlyn and Zeri are trying to help them in that too) and at act 4 they are starting to rebuild their relationship, thats why this idea had never crossed my mind. But yeah, I can see that happening around act 5 or 6... I don't have a plot for those acts yet, gotta finish the ones I have set first, but I'm taking this idea to them. How I will make this happen? I don't know yet, when I get there I will figure something that will roll with the plot. Thank you so much for this idea! ❤️
As for their orientations, tm!Jinx is bi/demi-sexual, tm!Zeri is the pan one and tm!Ekko is hetero/aceflux (I have this defined for a while already).
Now I can't stop thinking about how Ekko is the one that keeps the brain cell of the trio because the other two are gremlins who forget to use theirs when they are into their shenanigans lmao 😂. Another cute thing I imagined is that Viktor would be the first one to encourage and support them (hence he's a very supportive person about others' orientations/identitites, he's also the aroace bud that is the best wingman you can find as he knows very well how to read people and knows stuff about romance in theory) and many other scenes/ideas I already had (my imagination works that fast, I wish I could put the ideas on paper at the same speed lol).
And it wasn't offensive at all, don't worry :)
So, whatever I said about timebomb in this AU before this post, forget it, I will go with that line now, I like this idea better.

Jinx: hehe I already do that, but it's of very dark colors... he didn't like any of the brighter colors. He mostly like the dark blues ones.
