While the Onion buying InfoWars is indeed extremely funny, very few of the posts I've seen commenting on the sale have mentioned that the families of the Sandy Hook victims apparently agreed to voluntarily reduce their lawsuit payout as part of a deal to ensure that the Onion would acquire InfoWars wholesale, rather than having the company broken up and auctioned off piecemeal, as the latter course could potentially have allowed some of those pieces to end up back in the hands of Alex Jones' cronies.
Like, yes, it is in fact very funny that InfoWars is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Clickhole, but the real props go out to the Sandy Hook families who saw the opportunity and willingly gave up the additional millions of dollars that could have been realised by stripping InfoWars for parts in order to make that happen.
Two different worlds collide in a chance encounter, and hearts catch fire on a dangerous road. The adventure begins…
If you’re a fan of Critical Role, then you know TUSK LOVE, the Mighty Nein’s—or, okay, just Jester’s—favorite saucy in-universe romance novel. The actual novel is coming July 1, 2025 from Del Rey, and it’s written by… ME!!! ❤️🔥
I’ve honestly been in a daze since January, when that fateful e-mail landed in my inbox specifically requesting if I could do this book. Critical Role is one of the best shows of all time and its influence on me as a writer and Dungeon Master is massive. I want to thank Del Rey and the CritRole team for this amazing opportunity to contribute to a canon that is so near and dear to my heart 🥹
TUSK LOVE is the story of Guinevere, a wealthy merchant’s sheltered daughter, and Oskar, a blacksmith’s brooding apprentice. Fate throws them together on the vast and peril-laden thoroughfare known as the Amber Road, where they must rely on each other to survive. Forbidden sparks fly, bodices are ripped, choices must be made—but can a girl raised as a lady and a boy from the wrong side of the tracks truly find their happily ever after?
As to why it’s entitled TUSK LOVE… you’ll see 👁️👄👁️

“It is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succour of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till.”
