The US-backed terrorist state of Israel has blocked the entry of aid into Gaza.
Netanyahu is the great Satan. May Israel be wiped off the world map. Fucking terrorists. Death to Israel.
iof shut down the gaza border again, cutting it off from aid, again. the cost of daily living will likely rise again. please donate to the people working to make things a little more equitable in the face of death:
Was so confused when I heard that a "Palestinian" film about Palestinian suffering at the hands of Israeli government actually won an Oscar.................then I learned that its a Palestinian-Israeli film that has the Palestinian main character befriending a nice Israeli settler who helps him in his struggle and while accepting the award that Israeli settler just had to squeezed in how brutal October 7th is and how Israeli hostages must be freed and he made to specify the hostages being Israeli so that you wouldn't think he's talking about the thousands of Palestinian hostages in Israeli concentration camps who were kidnapped before, during and after October 7th and are currently being tortured, raped and killed as I'm writing this.
Meanwhile actual Palestinian films and other media (fully made by Palestinian without any outside influence) that highlight the suffering of Palestinians under the Israeli occupation and the impunity Israeli terrorists receive from Western countries without bothering to take a big portion of the screen-time dedicated to showing how kind and nice some Israeli settlers are, so that racists in the audience wouldn't seethe too much, continue to be the subjective of systemic censorship and removal from western platforms and it would be a cold day in hell before THEY receive a prestigious award like an Oscar.
Or like how the Palestinian writer Mohammed El-Kurd said in his "Perfect Victims: And the Politics of Appeal" book:
And of course a settler is a settler, no matter how much they promote themselves as the pinnacle of peacefulness and morality.

And they still insist we shouldn't draw comparisons to the Holocaust
In response to Israel repeatedly violating the ceasefire deal, the Palestinian resistance has announced the next hostage release will be postponed
Good news
My older sister is on her way here and she's probably going to reveal to us that she's pregnant because she insist that we all gather in the living room because she wants to "show us" something and is asking if the TV has a screen mirroring receiver that can connect to her phone (obviously to show us ultrasound pics), but the thing is that my mom and her big mouth already told me that she's pregnant a month ago and now I have to pretend like I didn't know......
Managed to play off my lack of reaction by daying how obvious it was and everyone else was dramatic enough so I don’t think I ruined the mood or anything (she even said she would name the baby after me if it was a boy)

Journalists interrupt and berate Blinken on Gaza policy.
Several journalists who are outspoken critics of US support for Israel loudly lambasted US Secretary of State Antony Blinken over the war on Gaza on Thursday, repeatedly interrupting his final press conference as he sought to defend his handling of the 15-month-old war.
“Criminal! Why aren’t you in The Hague,” shouted Sam Husseini, an independent journalist and longtime critic of Washington’s approach to the world, before being physically dragged outside of the briefing room.
“Why did you keep the bombs flowing when we had a deal in May?” Max Blumenthal, editor of the Grayzone, an outlet that strongly criticizes many aspects of US foreign policy, called out to Blinken before being escorted out.
btw now is the best time to keep boycotting. the israeli economy has never been weaker. don't stop the protests or the demands for divestment. keep supporting organisations like the Hind Rajab Foundation and the Accountability Archive. ofc don't stop boosting and donating to Palestinians as Gaza is still uninhabitable.
enjoy this moment but the work has not ended
it's devastating to see the aftermath of the israeli genocide on gaza. an entire city that was a home to two million people has been turned into rubble and made into a mass grave for hundreds of thousands of people.
we maintain hope that gaza will be rebuilt. that her people will return and be able to live with some sense of normalcy despite the events of the last fifteen months.
it's just so surreal to see people believe that the fight for a free palestine is over and that we've 'won'. a ceasefire is a very crucial step but it is the first of many steps in the liberation of palestine.
im here to remind you to continue to escalate for palestine until it is free. continue to help in whatever way you can. continue to donate to families who are trying to recover from the horrors they've survived. continue to care for other human beings.
i also request you to donate to alaa's fundraiser and help her give a better life to her children. her fundraiser has been verified.
anyway ceasefire doesn't mean boycotts are stopping and BDS has called for a boycott of the new captain america movie. please remember this when it comes out in two weeks. please remember this with the news articles about conservatives boycotting the film, and when those same conservatives claim the movie failed for having a black lead or "being woke".
Marvel Studios included an obscure comics character called Sabra in this movie, who is basically Captain Israel and literally had no necessary reason to be included other than Disney being zionist. this character did not need to be there at all but had been left in despite the ongoing genocide over the past year and a half. BDS put out a call to boycott it in early 2023. BDS strong.
edit: in october 2024 there were reports of the character's removal/details changed but last I heard BDS was still calling for the boycott
