god every time i watch black vinegar arc im struck again by how good of an adaptation of the source material this is. like. their proportions look so much more childlike than they do in pretty much every other episode
like this doesnt look like an epic anime battle this is just a child having a breakdown and taking it out on another kid who refuses to fight back until he cant anymore. theyre just kids. god.
Alien Stage F I N A L Rewritten Ending
"And cut!"
As the director calls "Cut!" after Till's heart-wrenching death scene, the set quickly fills with laughter, and the somber mood evaporates. Mizi, still holding Till's head in her lap, tries to keep a straight face but ends up grinning as she glances down at him.
"Ivan didn't die for this, Till!" she jokes, giving him a playful poke on the cheek.
Hyuna, still standing nearby, snickers, "Seriously, all that intense drama just for it to end like this?"
Till opens one eye, feigning offense. "I worked hard for that death scene, thank you very much!"
At that moment, Ivan walks over, his expression a mix of amusement and mock disapproval. "Yeah, well, if you're going to die, at least do it right, Till."
The whole crew laughs, including Sua and Luka, who joins the group with mock horror as if witnessing Till's "death" for the first time.
Luka claps him on the shoulder. "Guess dying's tough when you've got all of us watching, huh?"
The set dissolves into more laughter as Mizi carefully helps Till sit up, everyone basking in the easy, playful banter that contrasts so starkly with the scene they'd just filmed.
As the laughter dies down, the cast gathers together, still in costume and grinning, looking toward the camera. Till, who had just "died" on set, stands up and throws an arm around Mizi, who's still laughing. Ivan and Luka join them, with Hyuna and Sua smiling on either side.
"Thank you all so much for supporting Alien Stage!" Till says with a grin, giving a mock bow.
Mizi chimes in, "We wouldn't be here without your love and enthusiasm!"
With a final wave, they call out in unison, "Goodbye!"

i cannot stop thinking about sevika continuing to be silco's dog even after his death. leaving his seat empty at the desk, when will you come back home? how she clings to the orders she's been given, even though he's not there anymore to enforce them. like a wounded animal, she bares her teeth at jinx at first, until she sees she's just a broken pup, where she immediately turns jinx into an extension of silco, someone to protect, someone to serve.
also thinking how jinx is both silco to her, a master stand-in, and a little bit how she slowly might also fall into the "is there anything as undoing as a daughter" pit that runs as the undercurrent to most of this story (though again, is it her autonomous action or because it was silco's daughter first?)
Meanwhile, somewhere deep in Viktor's soul during his reunion with Jayce.
I've only known Isha for a day or so but if anything happens to her I'm gonna off myself
