I wish A Christmas Carol had an even stronger influence on Christmas tradition and ghosts became a symbol of the holiday 

Even better if terrorising the rich into acts of kindness also became a part of Christmas

Specifically the two versions of “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen” by Mannheim Steamroller (which is where I have this link set to start). I love the transition between the two versions. I think they are best listened to as a unit, but Mannheim Steamroller’s Christmas stuff is always the best.
