People so often talk about parallel play as a thing children do, but adults do it too! I love just hanging out with others while we do our own things. The fact that we're not doing something together doesn't bother me. It's simply being together that's important.

Literally anyone:: Um, not to be rude, but ... are you maybe a bit too into Pokémon?
Me, wearing a Pokémon t-shirt, unzipping my Pikachu backpack to reveal 9 Pokémon plushies, a pair of Eevee socks that I can't wear because one has a hole in it so I just keep them for fun, 8 Pokémon figurines, a Poké Ball bag which contains three more plushies and one figurine, and the Pokémon Deluxe Essential Handbook, as I shuffle my Pokémon UNO cards while listening to the Pokémon soundtrack with headphones that I like because they're the same colour as Wallace's hair colour from, you guessed it, Pokémon: Really? What makes you think that?
