I’m open to being proven wrong on this, but I’m not currently convinced that there’s some of epidemic of canonically bi characters who are only seen in m/f relationships.

I’ve seen a chart some time ago showing that about 9 in 10 bi female characters on tv end up in endgame f/f relationships. The only reason it appears to have an epidemic of bi characters in m/f relationships is because people insist that bi characters who end up with, or mostly date, their own gender are actually gay so they don’t count 🤷‍♀️

“All m/f relationships are heterosexual regardless of the identities of the people involved”

Translation: I sure do love erasing people’s identities against their will!
