Ever since I was in my Baby form, Nyaromon, I was waiting for someone. Day in and day out… I waited, and waited, and waited… But no one ever came.

• Taichi and Agumon are all over the place and tangled together - literally canon. 
• Yamato and Gabumon… God, this is such puppy behaviour and I love it so much. Fun fact - my puppy usually turned his butt around to face our faces and that is in order to protect us from approaching harm (and/or because he felt safe). So even if it doesn’t fully fit, it’s so cute that Gabumon is snuggled close, butt up, but STILL facing Yamato. So whether or not that was intended or not, it’s very nice. 
• Sora and Piyomon have to be connected. It’s not the closest lovey-dovey-hug (because Sora isn’t a hugger), but they hold onto each other’s hands/wings while they sleep. 
• Koushirou and Tentomon are no close huggers either and never have been, Tentocat basically strikes again by providing stability from the side, so his boy can FINALLY get some rest. It’s kinda a shame they’re not facing each other, but that fits too, because Kou lives in his own headspace and Tentomon knows that, but still supports him where he can.
• Mimi and Palmon are cute, because this feels like Mimi is the one giving PALMON the stability/shelter, letting her rest on top of her (maybe even haven given her a massage?).
• Jyou and Gomamon are, once again, unbeatable, because Gomamon literally said “MY SPOT NOW” and claimed it without question. 
• Takeru and Patamon (01) turned Patahat around, so Takeru is now resting on Patamon instead. Brilliant. Also, actual cute nod that Takeru and Patamon (02) are holding hands in the same way as Hikari and Tailmon (01)! It feels a bit more “grounded” and trustful here.
• Hikari and Tailmon (01) are just holding hands here, as they haven’t spent as much time yet, but the mutual trust is definitely here in a very calm, serene way. That’s how their 02 selves are more familiar and Hikari gives Tailmon the stability she needs.
• Daisuke and V-mon are literally just chilling and vibing together like the bros they are. 
• Ken and Wormmon are cuddled closely as they SHOULD be, with Wormmoon seemingly giving Ken a bit of support there, nuzzling close affectionately. 
• Miyako and Hawkmon are kind of a mix of Sora and Hikari in 01, showing off closeness that may not be TOO familiar, but still very trustful. 
• Iori and Armadimon look like the latter is latching onto Iori like a protective bug, which is adorable (even though I never really liked it when it was portrayed when he was on top like Iori, that kinda felt like forced Patahat mirroring).
