Again, if you don’t fully identify as the gender you were assigned at birth 100% of the time, you can call yourself trans. That’s it, there’s no other criteria you need to meet to be trans.

Me?? Posting again about how wonderful trans people are??? It’s more likely than you think.

The idea that autistic people are child-minded is harmful to all autistics, but especially harmful to queer autistics.

Our very identities are denied and ignored for no other reason than other people see us as unable to think for ourselves.

So, it seems like multigender people are now slowly becoming the focus of hate from exclusionist groups, which I can only assume happened because these groups felt forced to have to respect multigender people for a few months as the website's opinion of them was that they were cool, and now these bigots are finding each other and, claiming that it is in order to "protect other trans people", are shitting on the "fagdykes" around.

What I want to say is this: for the love of everything that is good, if you find a post that is claiming that one specific kind of generic trans person is hurting another kind of generic trans person, actually think critically about said post.

Stay strong out there everyone. We gotta stick together.

Let's stop gendering autism.

Slapping a gender onto specific autistic traits can cause a lot of problems for everyone. Some autistic people have struggled to get a diagnosis because they don't exhibit the autistic traits commonly associated with their gender.

i don't really see a lot of support for genderfluid people, so here's to every genderfluid person

here's to every genderfluid person whose gender changes throughout the day or day by day, here's to every genderfluid person whose gender rarely changes, here's to every genderfluid person who identify as gays and lesbians, here's to every genderfluid person who have just a few genders, here's to every genderfluid person who has many genders, here's to every genderfluid person who identifies with other terms like multigender, genderqueer and nonbinary, here's to every genderfluid perso with weird genders, here's to every genderfluid person who's never a man or a woman, here's to every genderfluid person who refuses to "simplify" their identity for everyone else.

Fact #949: Your gender is valid no matter what pronouns you use.

Being trans in Florida is very scary right now, and I’m trying very hard not to get sucked into an endless feed of Horrible News, so even if you don’t see me talking about it, don’t assume I’m not thinking about it and stressing the fuck out about it. Because I am. A Lot.

Many of us are part of more than one marginalized community. Most of us have also struggled to reclaim some measure of pride, dignity, and recognition in each of them.

Despite your hard work there will always be some people who choose to see and celebrate only one of these communities represented in you to the exclusion of the other(s).

It isn't your fault. You're not just pretending, or letting your communities down by not being recognised for who you are.

Someone else's refusal to acknowledge the complexities of life is their problem, and not something you can control.

Your gender or lack of gender is an important part of you.

If someone tries to downplay that, it likely means they’re more interested in their idea of you than the actual you.

And you don’t have to put up with that unless you choose to.

Have all the names you want. Have all the pronouns you want.

There are people who can pick one name and one set of pronouns and they will always be comfortable with them, but not everyone manages to. If your gender is fluid, or if you have multiple genders, it can be hard to find something that will always fit. Some days a certain name will feel right, and other days it won’t.

So if you need multiple names and/or pronouns sets to use on different days, it’s ok. If you don’t want to tell everyone which ones your are using all the time, set up a system to let people who know you know what do you want to be called/referred to at the moment. People who care about you will understand and support you.
