So, we'll be getting a Digimon Adventure 25th Anniversary PV, meaning that the most iconic scenes of the anime will be getting newly animated.

If you're a fan of Takari, I am still not sure whether to congratulate or speak my condolences, because that second drama could contain the most beautiful development between them or be the greatest ship bait of all time.

Theatrical version of the Bluray and DVD will be available to purchase in theaters like usual. Normal release will be November 2nd, 2017.
There will be “Toei Animation Original lottery Special” with the Signed Key visual poster in the Bluray and DVD.
A digimon stage play has been annouced. The stage play will take place between August 5th - August 13th. (With schedule attached)

The play will take place in Roppongi Zepp Blue Theater. Visual and cast will reveal soon.

Previously annouced stage play for digimon tri has revealed their poster and the cast members for the male chose children.
The synopsis follows:
『8月1日』それは八神太一、石田ヤマトら“選ばれし子どもたち”にとって特別な日。
夏の間もサッカーの練習に打ち込んでいる太一はヒカルから「みんなで8月1日にキャンプに行こう」と誘われる。思い出の日にみんなで集まろうとミミと光子郎が提案したという。受験勉強で忙しい丈も今回は参加すると聞き、快諾する太一。一方、バンド活動を続けているヤマトにはタケルが声をかけにいくことに。 弟のタケルに一緒に行こうと頼まれ断れないヤマトは渋々ながらキャンプへ行く準備をはじめる。
俺たち8人でもう一度、あの場所に行くのも悪くない。そう思いながら。
“August 1st”, it’s a very special day for Yagami Taichi, Ishida Yamato and the chosen children. Taichi who’s dedicated his summer to soccer pratice, got invited by Hikari: “ Let’s go camping with everyone on August 1st.” This plan was suggested by Koushiro and Mimi to have everyone gather together on that day of memory. After hearing Jou who’s busy with studying for his entrance exam will be coming to this, Taichi accepts the invite immediately. On the other hand, Yamato who continues with his band activities heard the plan from Takeru. He can’t refused his little brother’s invite, and started to prepare for the camp unwillingly.
“The eight of us gather in ‘that place’ again, it’s not a bad idea.” He thought.
長い夏休みのなか、思い出の日にみんなで過ごせることに少なからず期待する子供たち。
In the long summer vocation, the children are looking forward to spend lots of time with everyone on that day of memory.
キャンプ当日。ミミが用意するはずのキャンプ用具を忘れてきてしまい、前途多難なスタートに。 The day of the camp. A rough start with Mimi who forgot to bring the camping supplies which she’s supposed to.
これじゃキャンプできないよ！と騒ぐ丈。困りましたね、と打開策を考える光子郎。ミミをフォローする空。 そんなみんなの姿をみて、デジタルワールドに始めてきたときみたいだな！と笑顔になる太一。あのころは、こんなこと何でもなかったじゃないか！ そうだな、と頷くヤマト。6年前の気持ちをよみがえらせ、8月1日のキャンプが始まった――――。
“We can’t do camping like this!” Jou complains. “That’s a problem.” Koushiro says as he’s trying to think of a solution. Sora follows Mimi. Seeing everyone’s current state, “Looks exactly like how we first arrived in the digital world!” Taichi laughs. “At that time, we didn’t have anything on us neither! ” “That’s true.” Yamato nods. Let’s awaken your feeling from 6 years ago, and the camping on August 1st starts.

Story translation for Digimon Adventure tri. Chapter 03, “Confession”
Upon seeing Meikuumon’s abrupt transformation and killing of Leomon, before disappearing to the other side of the distortions, Taichi and co. are unable to hide their agitation.
“If Meikuumon has been infected, I want to know what caused it. Could there have been initial symptoms? When did the infection occur?” While coming to terms with the situation that has gone beyond his imagination, Koushiro wracks his brains on what he can do to counter it.
However, finding no effective methods, he presses Meiko with questions in order to get whatever information he can. “Please, you have to remember. We need more information in order to figure out the cause of infection.” Meiko, hanging her head, is unable to answer…
Agumon and the other Digimon are kept isolated in Koushiro’s office in order to prevent them from infection, but signs of infection begin to appear in Patamon… At the same time, Agumon and the others learn an important secret about the Digital World through Hikari’s voice.
“The time… draws near…”
And when Meikuumon appears once more to battle them, that “time” arrives. Taichi and co. are agonized by the secret that was revealed to them. As each of their feelings intertwine, they make a decision. “If I wait to do something ‘someday,’ I’ll end up a grown adult before I even know it.”
Now, the adventure evolves once again…
January 15th, 2016. In today’s special livestream, hosts Yoshida Hitomi, Enoki Junya, and Arakawa Miho shared two short preview videos for the second and third chapters of Digimon Adventure tri. The first video was for Ketsui (Determination) featured Hackmon and an unknown new character, while the second video revealed the title of the third film, 告白 Kokuhaku (Confession) and featured Patamon saying “goodbye” to Takaishi Takeru. The second video had no voice track, and was only subtitled. The identity of the new character cannot be determined at this time; the viewers in the Nico live chat speculated that it was the Digimon Kaiser, though there were few visual similarities between the two.
A recording of the stream is being processed and will be uploaded later today.
Extremely LQ image of the poster for the second Tri. film - “Determination.” The artwork shows the tentative release date (March 12), the ultimate forms of Mimi and Joe’s digimons - Rosemon and Vikemon, respectfully - and Imperialdramon (Zero Two).

I went to the opening of the Digimon Adventure tri x animate cafe in Japan yesterday (17 November 2015) - and it was totally awesome! Of course, I’m speaking as a Digimon fan. ;)
