I love that everyone is looking at the objective, scientific evidence that celestial bodies move over time and that therefore their position in space is no longer the same as it was thousands of years ago, meaning you were most likely not born under the same sign you thought you were, and going. #jewish tag #reform tag #reform jews #agnostic tag #a: nuance #a: yes and no #(not saying exactly which option I picked But)#food #food discussion #fasting #religious fasting #religious fasts #judaism #yom kippur #yom kippur fasting #passover #pesach #(But there were timeframes {Various years} both in the leadup to Passover *and* during Yom Kippur where I simply just had Low appetites)#({not specifically because of those things} so sometimes I would just eat whenever I was ready at the time after the fact)#(so I wasnt outright observing strict fasting even though I Could have tried)#actuallygad #(if I go too long without food {even 1~3 hours} I start getting very physically anxious and my stomach lets me KNOW IT)#(anyway this is basically why I rarely talked about observing these holidays religiously before I got more active on this blog over years)#(it wasnt that I wasnt acknowledging them PASSING {I was often very aware of Jewish calender timeframes})#(especially because my Jewish parents birthday is AROUND the time of the high holidays {were very often Reminded})#(its because i PHYSICALLY COULDNT)#anyway i have since learnt i can apparently go part of a month INVOLUNTARILY '''fasting''' and im still frustrated im finding out this way #(Technically ive had stuff like milk and shakes in between so idek if that counts but there were a few~ days or so there that Worried Me)#({Theres also the fact im technically NOT 'SUPPOSED' TO FAST on 1st day of Pesach bc I AM NOT THE FIRSTBORN IN MY FAMILY T H A N K--})#({That goes for BOTH 'sides' of my family INCLUDING MY NON NORMATIVE FAMILIAL SIDE AKA BIO RELATIVES})
