Can someone explain me why he is so DAMN FUCKING CUTE

I’m just so happy things are going well now. They really deserve it. The oh so awaited date.

This chapter has broken my heart.

Futaba has been in love with Kou since the very first chapter. She took it upon herself to make him happy, to be there for him, because she knew how much Kou had suffered, even when he didn’t show it. But she saw right through him and decided to do everything she could to help him.

It didn’t stop her the way he treated her at the beginning, because Kou’s past was difficult and sad and, let’s face it, he acted that way to protect himself. He didn’t want to get attached to anyone because he was afraid of losing someone else. He didn’t want Futaba to get close to him beacuse he wasn’t ready.

However, he made sure nothing bad happened to her. Even if he wanted to push her away, he ended up taking care of her. And after some time, he started to open up. He started to let go of the past (even of Narumi was still there, but that’s another story) and he started to feel something towards her.

And then, Kikuhci appeared.

I have to say that I, personally, don’t like him at all ( I kind of hate him, to be honest). I feel that he took advantage of a confused Futaba and  pressed her until he got what he wanted: go out with her.

She has never let go of her feelings for Kou. Even if she is trying to deny them, to bury them in the deepest part of her mind, she still likes him (if not loves him). But because she’s dating Kikuchi, and because she’s not a bitch (since that chpter,I hate that guy that insulted her) she just can’t go and break up with Touma to start dating Kou.

And in this two pages, she kind of realizes that, no matter how hard she tries, Kou means too much for her. If she lets him go, she won’t be happy. It doesn’t matter how much she wants to fall in love with Kikuchi. She’s already in love with Kou. And if she doesn’t face the truth, she will only hurt the three of them.
