When he was in hell he was so blind with rage and that Mortymorty shoved the heart into him I don’t think Kain cared at all. Revenge and the search for truth drove both these guys into some insane situations. The whole thing is confusing, it is a perfect Ouroboros.
Its kinda funny how ironic the whole story is sometimes. I love it. Mortanius blindly did a good thing even though he did the wrong thing at the same time under the Hyldan control. Murderin Ariel and such. Then making Kain a Pillar Guardian slaying mother fucker. Haha.
