I really like the triangle / diamond / pyramid crystal formations. I can not explain why I enjoy this one so much, maybe because it is a survivor of the starter/seed crystal formation batch, maybe the colour that I dyed it.

I’m weird. I created this doofus out of alum, string, blue and green dye, a stick, hot water, a coffee filter, a coffee machine (used for art),and the resulting alum crystal makes me happy.

I will secure it further with clear nail polish. Yiss, this gonna be Alum Aomi Crystal shenanigans!!

made this alum crystal in an over saturated solution, yep i was goin for a clumpy aquamarine / cyan / teal chunk crystal. what i adore about it is that it has such a different blue-green look depending on lighting. i like lookin it at it in my office, all my fav shades of cyan happen.
