BB tightened her hold on Robin’s shoulder and frowned at him. Her brow became a stern line. “Be good. We all—care.”
“This is about the whole date with N thing, isn’t it?” Wally sighed and looked at his phone. “You didn’t do anything to my phone, did you? Like rig it to explode or delete my contacts? That would suck.” He pursed his lips and resisted the urge to check immediately.
“As if I would waste such efforts on the likes of you,” Robin hissed.
“Right, of course. Not worth that effort, but worth the effort of two hours, straight, of stalking?”
BB laughed quietly behind her hand. Robin went very red. BB kept a hold of his shoulder, though. It didn’t look like a hold that would be very hard to break, but the kid clearly respected her too much to do exactly that, even as the urge toward violence seemed to flood his whole being, practically making him vibrate as he scowled at Wally.
“Cares. A lot.” BB nodded to herself.
