I'm sorry that you feel like that. But if now they haven't unspoken things why their relationships should end? David talked that he always feel guilt in the others podcasts too. I think it is the excellent student syndrome. They both could hurt each other in the past. Why you think that David was an asshole all the time and Gillian was a victim? You see it like this?

Ask yourself a question. What, besides the X-Files, connects David and Gillian? Nothing. David and Gillian have different interests, different views on life and relationships, different friends and social circle, they live in different parts of the world. I'm sorry, but this is a bad basis for a real friendship. I don't believe David and Gillian are real friends. They have a good relationship, they are old colleagues and buddies, but they are not friends and even more so they are not family. These are beautiful words for fans. David and Gillian's relationship will continue if they meet in the future on some common project. But that's all. I never said that David was an asshole or that Gillian was a victim. I think David always cared more about himself, his comforts, his feelings, and he often didn't think about the people around him. This is not just about Gillian. David forced the producers to move filming from Canada to the USA and people lost their jobs. David quit the series and the producers were forced to quickly find new plot moves and Gillian had to bear the brunt of this decision and continue working. David said that the series could be continued without Scully, but he quickly "forgot" about this statement. David wasn't an asshole, he was a privileged male actor and Gillian had to fight for her rights as a female actress throughout the series.

Can you explain your thoughts? Why do you think that it is goodbye?

I'm sorry, but I can't explain it. It's just how I felt when I listened to this podcast. And the very topic of apologizing and forgiving their past mistakes is like saying goodbye. David and Gillian personally (without pressure from studios and producers) talked about their ambiguous past and closed this page in their relationship. Now they're just old colleagues from the series that made them famous. Old colleagues, without past grudges and unclear relationships. I'm sorry to repeat this, but I doubt they will continue to communicate. Now that there are no unfinished pages between them and each of them has their own lives and different careers, they do not need to resent each other because of their common past, nor communicate with each other. Although, according to David, he rarely communicated with Gillian in the past. Now there is no need for this communication at all. I'm a Gillovny and I'm really sorry to admit it, but that's how I feel.

Judging by your questions and comments, you didn't like the podcast.

I liked the podcast, but I have my own thoughts and they are different from the thoughts of other fans. I'm sorry, but I doubt Gillian's sincerity and I haven't believed in David's sincerity for a long time. But there was sincerity in this podcast. I think David sincerely wanted to apologize for his behavior to Gillian. For what reason, I do not know, but I think that for all David's sincerity, there was a small amount of self-justification and resentment in his apologies. Still, comparing how he quit his role of Mulder at the peak of the popularity of the series and the fact that Gillian refused to star in the continuation of the series when the series became a failure due to Chris's decisions is not fair to Gillian. I think it was important for Gillian that David admitted his mistakes in their shared past and apologized to her. True, David was 30 years late, but better late than never. And the main thing. I think this podcast was an opportunity for Gillian to say "goodbye to Mr.Duchovny". And do it with peace of mind and heart. Gillian will always talk about Scully and the X-Files, but I doubt Gillian will continue to support David or communicate with him. This is goodbye. I hope David understood that, he's a smart guy. It is possible that in the future they will meet at some project or comic con, like old colleagues, but it will only be a job for money and nothing more. I really want to make a mistake about this podcast, because my Gillovny's soul is protesting against it, but this is life. I'm sorry if I offended anyone in my comments, but these are my thoughts and feelings about this podcast.

Do you know if celebrities get paid for their photoshoots and being on magazine covers, or is that just a way to promote themselves?

I don't think hot celebrities pay to appear on the covers of big magazines. Studios arrange and pay for photoshoots for magazines, but this is part of the usual pool of promoting big movies or TV series. Now there is a more effective and cheaper way to promote yourself. These are social media accounts. Producers pay serious attention to this, because Instagram or Twitter is a very fast and free advertisement for an actor or a movie.

Sometimes celebrities pay the tabloids or act through their proxies, warning where they will be and what to write, but they themselves remain in the shadows. But this mainly concerns events in the personal lives of celebrities that they want to sell to fans. Like: I had nothing to do with being caught with a new girlfriend/boyfriend. It's the sneaky paparazzi's fault.

Do you think Gillian signed an NDA to be in association with David? Her lips are quite sealed in that she hasn't said anything about what she knows about him. She hasn't even said boo about his sex addiction, rehab, or the rumors that swirled during their XFiles days. Why is she so loyal to him?

Gillian and David's collaboration ended with the end of The X-Files. Gillian won't say anything about David and it's not because of the non-disclosure agreement. They both signed a NDA, but this only applies to work on the series. First of all. Gillian is a good friend and she doesn't want to harm David's image, especially since he successfully does it himself. And secondly. Why would Gillian be in unnecessary trouble because of David? All the journalists will be asking Gillian constant questions about David's sexual addiction or about his current relationship with such a huge difference in age and power. Let Tea, West, or Chris Carter answer such questions. Gillian is not going to voluntarily get involved in this mess. By the way, most of David's friends act exactly like Gillian.

Miss Nobody will wake up hitting mid 30s with a geriatric husband and no accomplishment of her own. Florist? Really. Tell me sugar daddy gave you a fake job without telling me. I've seen the arrangements nothing special at all. But what's sad is this is all on David. He knows he stole her youth and truly doesn't care. It's all about him. Put a picture of David in Twin Peaks against her in makeup and try to find the difference besides a neck and longer leaner figure. He's a narcissist and I actually think his podcast proves it.

Waking up at the age of 30 with a geriatric husband and no accomplishment of her own is not the worst thing. The worst thing is to wake up at the age of 40-50, but without a geriatric husband and without his money, because David, as a loving father, will leave everything to his children. David takes great care of his children. I think he thinks that a kept woman should be taken care of by her parents. They don't do that. So what's the problem? David is a cynical guy. I don't like any audio podcasts at all (I have enough patience for 5-10 minutes and that's it), so I can't say anything about David's podcast. But judging by the number of views, David's podcast is not doing very well. Even Gillian's fake admiration doesn't help😂.

out of curiosity, how do people know about David's trust (the house being in a trust) information?

I think he said in his Rosie interview that he doesn't really deal with the money. He just makes it. That was my understanding. Are these kids who are always around him managing his money and career? Maybe that's why he looks poor because the kids are sucking him dry and taking advantage of his stupidity of not being more hands on.

I'm sorry, I don't remember. But it was in some long-ago interview with David after his divorce. David's main assets are managed by Carrie, David's current idle entourage uses only his current income, but these are crumbs compared to the past. Miss Nobody is fawning over Carrie, but it's no use, because trust funds are inviolable. And Tea also stands guard over the future financial well-being of her children. David sometimes looks battered. But this is understandable. David is trying to catch up with a long-gone youth and this leads to sad results. No one has ever looked good when trying to keep up with girlfriends 30-40 years younger.
