Ask yourself a question. What, besides the X-Files, connects David and Gillian? Nothing. David and Gillian have different interests, different views on life and relationships, different friends and social circle, they live in different parts of the world. I'm sorry, but this is a bad basis for a real friendship. I don't believe David and Gillian are real friends. I'm sorry, but I can't explain it. It's just how I felt when I listened to this podcast. And the very topic of apologizing and forgiving their past mistakes is like saying goodbye. David and Gillian personally (without pressure from studios and producers) talked about their ambiguous past and closed this page in their relationship. Now they're just old colleagues from the series that made them famous. Old colleagues, without past grudges and unclear relationships. I'm sorry to repeat this, but I doubt they will continue to communicate.
