1.) Kikka (15) with Airi (6) I kinda screwed up though since Kikka isn't supposed to have this big belly just yet, only after 17. Also Airi is probably too tiny, lolz But yeah Airi was always fond of her big brothers and kept clinging on them. Kikka has been always his fav (probably because Kikka had to babysit him most of the times, being the youngest XD; )

2.) Kintarou (17) & Ichirou (20), their older brothers. It is one pict actually but until i figure a bg I just split it up, it looks better this way.

I'm testing different papers now to see which one to use with brush marker for my next comic. =)

I started this pict some weeks ago (same day when ycomputer broke down) and go on with it now. Ironically in both cases I was disabled from spending time with the computer: back then because I had none, now because I am sick and it makes my head ache.

A quick one I managed for the (belated) Day of the Dead

Sasagi and her sons. She explains them how the parted are still with them in their heart. Kikka (smallest) found it really reassuring at that time. Not that he really knew what is it like to loose someone at that age. Ichirou (oldest boy) makes me smile, he is always so serious. Uh... poor Yunna (oldest sister), I always skip her from the pictures somehow (I just realized).

Take a "rug-paper" artbook and a couple of 15 years old markers (remainings of my childhood set) and add some water. Then dry it and start again - result~ I've been away for a week and I did this with the stuffs I found there.

No, the last two are simple brush markers. I could have tried to water it but too lazy.

Uncle Kintarou~

Kintarou, Kikka and Airi are siblings while Hayate is their nephew (it's a long story, 2 different mothers)

HAH, finally I quick-fixed this piece. Times like this I realize how much more I have to learn, uh huh...

Anyway, I wanted this to be my next personal calender page so I printed it and sticked to the wall. Colours make me happy. ^^

Autumn tale

Yeah, it's not a Halloween image. It is Day of the Deads here already. And almost all the characters here are already dead when the actual story starts, present time, it is just some happy moments of the past. It's Kikka's family.

Tadao (father), Yuuna (sister), Ichiro, Kintaro (brothers), Kikka (the little one) and Sasagi (the mother).

I imagine the scene to be a warm, late autumn time with colourful fallen leaves everywhere. Nostalgic for me. I hope I can colour tomorrow.

Dog people, YEY Ichirou is Kikka's oldest brother, Kintarou is the 2nd oldest, Kikka is the youngest boy. Well they have an older sister and a younger. By the begining of the story only Kikka and the sisters are alive. Kikka's brother had a deep impact on their little bro in their childhood. Some good and some bad. Their strenght was always sth that Kikka admired but also felt intimidated by it. Ichirou's indifference and Kintarou's bossying, bullying didn't help a lot (he is a good guy just a little agressive ^^' ) The other young boy is Hayate, their nephew, he is a bit like Kintarou, hot-headed and quick in action, but he is far not as agressive as him. He also looks up at Kikka since he was the "admirable adult in charge" for most of his time he can remember. Well you'll see i the story, i shut up now.

Anyway, I was busy with coming up with a simple but characteristic enough outfit for the Dog Squad (Hinagiku Kyouday) and the special dog squad, the Shiran Kyoudai. I realise these outfits are not kickass-looking at all. But Dog people is really not like that. They are bit.. "boring" in a sense, nothing flashy or outstanding in their look. But they are really strong and surpris the ones who underestimate them, HAH!
