I realized that I'll need more concrete pictures of my character's outfit. There are so many and it would be such a silly mistake to be inconsequent about their wear, uh huh
It is Minako, Kikka's wife he gets married in the story.
1st - houmongi, her wear before the marrige. She doesn't have furisode (long sleeved kimono for young females), it considered to be too flashy for Dog women, Dog people don't spend too much on their clothes hehe. (Damn, I forgot that the sleeves are supposed to be ROUND for young ones - see that's why I need the reference)
2nd - it is not a kosode, just an everyday wear she will have after the marrige. See, much simplier. She have the same obi (sash) for that one too. Her obi is not very wide but it considered to be kinda flashy compared to the avarge Dog obies (Airi is actually jealous of that XD).
3rd - Kurotomesode: formal wear for married (or older) women. It doesn't have pattern above the waistline. For that she has another, amtching obi (wow, she is so pricey oh noes XD)
W.I.P. sheets and charts~
There is not much going on - not what I can share at least. I finished two comic projects but I can't yet upload sample pages. And it kept me busy so couldn'T work on other things.
But I was messing with charts and maps a lot recently- It is for my own sake though. I need maps to keep track on my characters movement in the country to see if it is possibkle with geography and distance in certain amount of times. It's rather primitive yet, needs lots of work. I need charactersheets so I don't forget the little details like their katana guard patters or sth. XD And lastly I need those silly charts to keep on track about all the Zodiac symbolism they hold, lol. The English is for official purposes, the Japanese is for me (I prefair that way). Zodiacs were associated with not only years, but elements, directions, months and hours as well. Also they all had special "diety" patrons (buddhist boddhisatthvas), so those Japanese names on the middle are them. But they only had 8 so that's why it is "irregular" like that. I don't know too much of their roles yet, not sure if I even incorporate them. Sounds a bit overcomplicated for the story, we'll see. I just wanted to keep track on all those things to see what I can actually use from this all.
