I wonder if I should join... I don’t do well with things I MUST do daily. XD; But I rather like inking and I haven’t done it traditionally in a long time so it may be a nice distraction after all...

THERE, done it. And I realized there is a worldwide ongoing challenge called “inktober”. From what I know it means you have to make a picture every day with ink (it can be digital, traditional or anything as long as it’s ink). I’ll see if I can do it but I won’t sweat if I can’t for some reason. I’ll start my next comic now so I’ll be busier with scripts and thumbnails from now on.
But I guess my latest pictures could be also tagged as “inktober” challenge picts too =D
No Pencil challenge 16 17 18 (Day 8)
Kuroneko practicing with a naginata and Kotetsu dropping dwon from a tree. The third was just a quick sketch to a friend to show what a jinbaori is (the jacket the kid wears) And to illustrate that I draw Toraji, the Tiger daimyou... and for some reason I made him as a kid... This gives me ideas... o.o
Just more random messing with that watercolour set. =) (I mixed some brushpen black ink into it too because I failed to mix dark shades, I always ended up mixing super-saturated silly colours when I tried XP; But ever since I got to know that you get grey mixing up complementers... Ahhh, okkkkays. I’ll try next time ^^’)

Hm, it seems I drew 2 picts/day average. Not bad considering my circumstances. I’m pleased =)
Anyway, I tried to draw Kuroneko in some semi-realistic style... It made me realize that I should do more real-life studies, and some Asian face studies wouldn’t hurt either. ^^’

I was waiting for a wedding to start while it was raining so I decided to use it on my advantage. I mixed up the drops with my brushmarker as it came. =)
ANYWAY, I kinda beat that challange with this one on the 7th day... O,O But the challnge goes on for another week then to see if I can double the amount and earn the extra award. ^_^
But I’ll probably post the picts in groups then, not daily.

***I queued these AGES ago, because I mainly have time at weekends to deal with such things so my pictures are always “late” and I just thought that instead of my “ragged” posts I queue them nicely so there will be a picture for every day. But to hell with that - I’m gonna just post AAAALLLLL teh pictures I’ve drawn since I started this challange. Because I drew a LOT! 8D

Change in the plans. In fact I’m done with the 15 pictures and it was on day 7... =D; (I don’t always have the time and energy to scan and I queue them so every day it posts just one pict, but if you look at the date you’ll see when I actually drew them. Except when I forget about the date, heh heh).
I’ve decided that if I can draw the double amount in half the time I consider the challenge done on the 15th day. It’s probably better to finish it soon anyway because I have to start to next comic too so ‘Ill need all mah freetime, challenges get in the way then. If I fail with the double amount then... well I guess i won’t get the day-off ‘Im dreaming about. XP I’ll still get the Okami artbook though afterall I achieved what I did (lot faster then I expected).
