little edit: joseph talked about eddie's background a little bit, in which his mother had died and his father was in jail. so the papers on the left are the letters he wrote to his father, i thought. he tried at first but never heard back so he stopped after a while. and chrissy's father wasn't actually there for her, he was just, there. wayne tried. but in the end they were both on their own.

and the hunger part was kinda literal but also a little bit metaphorical too because they were hungry for love, hungry for care, hungry for affection from someone who was supposed to be there for them. so yeah, pain

I, personally, would’ve loved to see Chrissy Cunningham grow into the final girl I know she could be. Like seriously, who doesn’t want to see the cute sweet cheerleader with a perfect life that’s actually not perfect at all and is secretly dealing with mental illness go absolutely feral on some monsters or maybe even some people who are causing her these issues in her life. Idk I just love it. The trope is already there but there was a lot of potential. Like yeah she’s a stereotype except she’s not and there’s a darkness there, there’s a depth. She was a whole final girl waiting to happen.
