The land belongs to the natal kin of the woman who is making plots from the section she has been allotted by her brother, here preparing strings to align the ditches.

A woman soothes a pig and marks it with a streak of clay to signify it is committed to moka (ceremonial exchange). This was a small showing of pigs, and the ceremonial ground has been only roughly cleared.
