i've been Mega into bullet journaling lately! the bujo community and bullet journaling as a concept is kind of complex and drama-filled as fuck, but i'm in the midst of transitioning into a new notebook and just doing my own lil thing, compounding years of trying different spreads and things and "failing" (as much as one can fail at Having A Notebook) over and over again-- it has been so satisfying. it's really calming to Do Shit With My Hands and the creative part of my brain that is sitting on the sidelines so much of the time, and i'm in a somewhat heavy-hitting year of school so my bujo does a lot of heavy lifting and when i find a thing that works, it works Well. it's strange how engaging just planning out different layouts, breaking out fun glitter pens and colored pencils and things have been, mainly as i've been somewhat of a bujo puritan for years and generally consider myself unartistic. but yeah. i could ramble about this forever and it probably would make no sense at all lol

bujo really does wonders for self-expression. i used to do a lot and it's so fun to play around. the best part is that's a hobby you can bring anywhere and it never gets boring!!

I just saw your post! I have no specific subject, but here’s some of mine:

• I started writing again a few days ago after a 2-3 years long writers block

• I’m excited to get back into the groove of reading a new book

• I’m hoping to start learning about astronomy over the summer, maybe even sooner if I find some time to fit it in

• get a pedicure soon

• my lifespan development and cross-cultural psychology courses are pretty interesting. I’m learning a lot and I really think it’ll help me with my future careers

• I’ve also been taking an art therapy course and partaking in art therapy itself which has allowed me to have time outside of academics and life to just slow down and explore new creative endeavors, even though I quite literally suck at art (I’m being harsh on myself. I can get better with time if I put effort towards it)

Anyways, don’t let any of this fool you. I’ve been a complete and utter wreck and have been trying my best to take everything one day at a time. Crash outs are waiting to be had on my end

well, aren't we all trying to deal with our own wrecks every damn day while also not realizing all the great thing we're currently doing? but it's so nice you're doing all these things for yourself! writing again after such a long time must feel cathartic, i miss writing a lot.

having time outside of academics and focusing on different fields, especially those related to art and self-expression, are really the way to go! we need some break! i'm very happy for you and hope you continue to follow a path that makes you pleased.

i have been listening to the magnus archives for the first time and im a little worried its gonna mess with my Spotify wrapped cause ive been listening to episodes when i would normally be listening to music but its soooo good, im in season 3 right now and a lot of things are being revealed and the overall story is coming together but there's also so many more questions now. and its hard because i want to see fandom discussions and cool art but i will probably have to wait until i finish the whole thing because theres no way to avoid spoilers✨

someone recommended me this podcast a long time ago, but i never got to listen to it :( is it finished already? also, i don't think it'll mess your wrapped! it generally filters songs and podcasts, it'll probably come up as your most listened podcast

I used to be obsessed with Anglo-Portuguese history as a kid and I've recently found a bunch of my books, so I've really got back into that. The heavily abridged, the Aliança Luso-Inglesa or Anglo-Portuguese Alliance is the oldest, ongoing alliance in the world and has been in place since 1386 (technically 1373 if we count the treaty that it took over), although the two countries had been giving each other aid since the 1140s.

oooh, i've learned a lot about it back in school! don't remember a thing but the fact that my teacher would always says: colonizers supports colonizers! what a diva
